Santini and Ramos were very different as they had no experience of the premiership at all and also both didn't really speak English.

Blanc and AVB both have experience either through playing or managing and both speak near perfect English. Also, unlike Ramos, neither rely on a director of football which is important.

Proven premiership calibre is not easy to find...and if that's what we wanted would we have got rid of our most successful premiership manager of all time?

We're going to have to take a degree of risk with this appointment. It just needs to be calculated.

Think it's safe to say a new manager will be in by pre season..if not we can kiss goodbye to achieving ANYTHING in the coming season.

But playing devils advocate here, if Blanc is our number one choice and they make it through to the final, it doesn't leave us room to manoeuvre to get everything signed, sealed and delivered in time for pre-season.

I strongly believe he is our first choice replacement for Harry with AVB waiting firmly in the wings - after that, who knows!

I'd like to think/hope do too! I imagine the real itk guys would know if levy had set a deadline to get someone in by and u would imagine they would happily confirm this to us??? What's the point in being itk and declaring yourself to us as such otherwise??

Didn't think he was good enough at first but after much thought and considering how he organises his team and makes them solid and difficult to beat with the players and small squad at EFC he should be our top first choice target. 10 years PL experience and chance to move to a club with better players, a new training ground, a new stadium on the way and some money would be too good a chance for him to pass by.
How much of a change would it make to have a manager who keeps his mouth shut and knows how to conduct himself in a civilised manner when talking in a interview or to the press.

I've got to say, I don't get the "the clubs not in the best place" comment, if true?

We all know what position Everton are in, while we've just equaled our best ever prem finish (however disappointing that may have been), we're about to open a grainy facility that will be as good as anywhere in Europe, we're financially sound with a superb stadium on the way?

The only thing is we haven't got a manager, which would be his job...

But to be honest I don't want Moyse and am dubious that the club are even interested?!
