They are also a healthy alternative to sleeping pills.
But they are also not a team. They're a bunch of individuals and that never bodes well for excitement.

Yeah, just remeber last World Cup, Germans were playing great football and Spain did the same thing with them.

Got to say that both Blanc and AVB have potential question marks at this stage. Yes the french have issues but Blanc should manage those issues particularly in a Euro Quarter final. Seemed they were hoping for a set piece goal and displayed a lack of ambition.Hodgson would be castigated in this country for that performance.
I'm not sold on him as good as Spain are. And anyone using the they were playing Spain excuse may as well be trumpeting prandelli or Capello as both had results against the Spanish.
AVB's question marks are known but my gut just seems to lean toward him as being a better choice. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's Blanc's Monty Python chin fluff.

Yep, agreed, France certainly. Don't think it reflects badly on Blanc. They didn't kill each other, however much they were individuals, so Blanc might get the Nobel Peace Prize or a posting to Syria with the UN. If he doesn't join us. Which I rather hope he does. Spain play very capably (understatement). But I would rather watch Death and Time play an endless game of chess.

I'm sorry, but on a football forum I think it's fair enough to discuss a big football match that has just finished. If someone hasn't seen it and doesn't want to know the score, they should be avoiding the internet, especially football forums! Just my opinion..
