The bad news will not be re Sig. If we don't sign him there just won't be any mention of him. It seems the 2 pieces of bad news are definitely re Modric and Ledley

Surely Jacobs Modric ITK is just say he is going to Real Madrid, he is going to be a Star of Real Madrid hence the reemergence of his STORM cryptic. I don't read it as we are getting someone in part-ex, but then I am very frequently wrong.

I know this is going to sound stupid. But I am so relieved that Modric isn't going to Utd or Chelsea (or even City) that his leaving us for Madrid almost feels like a relief, if not good news.

I would doubt Modric transfer would be a part-exchange, they are incredibly rare. Hopefully we will get a club record fee for him.

There's a book about Real Madrid called "White Storm". Jacob's used it in relation to them before and it's presumably derived from that.

Rafa's positioning makes up for his lack of pace, Sigurdsson isn't a quality player that will take us up to a higher level.

If Sigurdsson was a quality player then CL clubs would be all over him.
