Info : Have heard that due to his wife's illness, Daniel Levy is considering some time out from the club. Up to a year.

Christ. Any idea on what illness she's got? Hope she gets better soon anyhow...

Why, the missing apostrophe you've contrived to replace in your edit. There's no bad grammar option, otherwise i could really have gone to town. Then again, I could simply have rated it 'dumb', because the fact that you're mentioning players about whom we've had no ITK whatsoever, and about whom we are singularly unlikely to have any, suggests you have as much idea about the purpose of this forum as you do the La Liga table.

No surprise there, then.

Yikes, hope that's not true but if she is that unwell it's understandable he'd need to focus on that and not commuting over the Atlantic every week.

On the Inter thing. No Lucio isn't a bad apple. They are shedding their high earners, Forlan is next. Cesar has said he isn't leaving, he may have no choice. They are signing Handanovic from Udinese though, and Matias Silvestre from Palermo (I think?). But they are losing a lot of their older players, like AC did this summer already.

Last year AC gave Pirlo away to Juve. That wasn't smart. But maybe they have to....

Probably suffering with serious giddiness & fainting, after how freely her hubby is opening his wallet lately :D.. Seriously though, you're absolutely right, and I hope that whatever is wrong with the lady can be sorted out. One thing's for sure, she will have access to medical treatments that most of us can only dream of being able to afford or use. That alone gives her more of a fighting chance than us mere commoners.

Doesn't surprise me the Levy stuff sadly, might explain Lewis being more proactive am guessing Lewis would run much more day to day stuff

I think the worst that would happen is someone might BREAK OUT THE ALL CAPS. Also exclamation marks would be abused.

But on a serious note. I'm sorry to read Daniel Levy is having a tough time of it in his personal life. Family first. Always.

If we're going to sell Pienaar and Gio, who do we have to play wide?

Lennon, Bale, VDV at a pinch. Sigurdsson possibly but I feel like it would be akin to playing a Modric out wide.

If both Gio and Steve go we're going to have to buy one or two more players for up top IMO, a striker/winger and a winger I think.

the fact that your username 'since57' implies that your most likely a fully grown man, middle aged even, with a car, a job, a house, all of those things.
the fact that you decide that the best, most productive and entertaining way of spending a sunny, thursday evening is to scrutinize people's spelling on an internet football forum where nobody actually cares about correct grammar quite frankly says more about your level of intelligence than it does of the original poster.

Yep we will be short out wide, Sigurdsson & VDV are central players, Oscar is a central player also. We surely need to get some back up for the wings as our targets don't seem very versatile.
