Christ. I didn't realise that relations between us and the Brazilians had reached a new nadir.
Fuck you, Brasil, for overtaking us in the biggest GDP stakes. Quite an apt illustration really.

Are Brazil in training camp for the Olympics already? And is it in England?
Yes and yes. I assume so anyways. The ahtlerleets started arriving from all over a couple of days ago.

They've sided with the Argies over the Falklands as well. Clearly a big mug off from the boy Cameron.

good skills out of avb if that is the case.. bit of networking might work and personal touch might do the trick.. highly unlikely as money talks and im sure agents will get bigger piece of pie at cheslea but still.

I thought that Brazil were training at Arsenals training ground? Would be a relatively short journey if so.

Wouild Sandro need to sneak him in? Can a manager go and talk to other teams players without their clubs permission?

 The dreaded Tottenham Hotspur transfer curse strikes again!!! It's going to be a looooooooooong summer. My mind's been polluted by so many windows of last day business... we didn't use to do all our business like this did we? I remember the summer Arnesen signed and we were making signings progressively throughout the summer. Damn can't believe that was 8 years ago!! Where's the time gone?!

I can understand wanting not to just start throwing money around, but if it's a case of shaving off £5m for the pair, wouldn't it be worth paying that to get them in early and settled?

Then again, we're not made of money and if Levy is seen to pay what the other club is asking with little fuss, not once but twice, it could cause problems going forward in future windows.

2 clubs with tough stances on outgoing transfers - remind you of anyone?

Of course it'll drag, Vertonghen took ages and he wanted to come, but it was worth the wait.

do you really get a better deal by leaving it until the end though? surely selling clubs make you pay a premium as they have no/little time to then get a replacement. lyon's president sure doesn't sound like he's going to let it run until august 31st.
