like your namesake, you see no positives? ;)
I know it's not positive but it's an accumulation of transfer windows and all the hot air spouted about big signings and for absolutely zilch to happen, I've been worn down by the inability to find suitable players even though they are out there if we are willing to take a chance.

and when we win the league, despite seemingly plodding along in comparison to the BIG (money) clubs, we'll all rejoice.

we cant even replace the shit players we sell with improvements so how are we gonna improve by selling our good players?

Nothing can equal the disapointment (Spurs wise) than the failure we displayed to build on our squad post CL.

I learnt a lot about our club rulers after that.

leadership is overrated. where was the so called leadership when we blew a 10 point lead to arsenal? give me a squad full of walkers, bales and sandros any day.

JJ's info is becoming clearer.

He said the other night that we could get Ade & Leandro but maybe even better. The even better is Llorente it seems after A&C's summarisation today (on p2 or p3).

Ryantegan who seems to have JJ's earhole (and maybe his bumhole too) confirmed this.

So according to JJ we could have Adebayor sewn up BUT we're hoping to get Llorente instead. If not we'll stick with Adebayor.

The constant in all this is Leandro who we'll hopefully sign whatever happens.

This is JJ's info - but will it come to pass?

Answers on a postcard to A&C's mum.

I was going to post this, surprise more people didn't pick up on Ryan's wink. When JJ said about the reasons will become clear why it's kept quiet I imagine it's because a host of other clubs would want Llorente. Basque tv reportedly saying it's a a battle between us and United for him at the moment. However, now his unhappiness has leaked I don't think we stand much of a chance.

Saw an article refer to Llorentes 36m euro buyout clause...is this real? Thats like 28.4m pounds. I would attempt a quick offer under that, but even the full amount isn't that bad.

Am i wrong in think we should be looking at Ade and one of either Llorente or Leandro ? Ade is established and pacey , the other two are not proven here yet. Just because they are proven in one league doesnt make them dead certs here- for Llorente look at Morientes and for Leando look at Juan Baptista. I wouldnt want to sign two foriegn strikers in one season. ( although right now maybe i would !!)

More from POTL re: Luka:
Luka was told if Real came in for him he would be allowed to leave. Obviously thus far this hasn't happened. His head has gone, he is desparate to leave, hence training in isolation. Any of you on here salesmen? game of cat and mouse in negotiation, someone will break for sure.

Luka being told he can leave if Real Madrid come in is fine, and I'm sure that's probably the case. What it doesn't mean is that he can leave no matter what, no matter whether our valuation is met and Real Madrid dictating the negotations.
