Can really see Jim White having a busy day on SSN on deadline day with the Modric saga as can see this running till then unless Real blink in the mean time as Levy won't

Moura to PSG done - Utd for Modric just became more likely imo - RVP and Modric would be a very good window for them

Odd timing. That link in respect to Lucas Moura. Odd timing, indeed. I'm rolling my eyes. You can't see. But that's his source adding evens and coming up with odds.

It was said whoever paid the money for Modric...

Daws is likely as an unexpected one imo, us lot might not think he's likely to stay but the average Joe on the street Spurs fan probably has a good opinion of him, similar about Parker. Can't see either being AVB type players though.
You can see Arry or Hansen or all the 2 bit newspaper pundits queueing up to write us off if so.
Fuck 'em! We're about pace, dynamism, fluidity, youth and flair these days not three yard sideways passes and the hoof up to the big lad.

Good shout as VDV and BAE have both been mentioned in the press and would be disappointing but not completely out of left field.

I wonder if the UTD link to Modric is just putting 2 and 2 together since Lucas has gone to PSG. I hope not. We need more bids if we are going to resolve this situation. And unlike some, I wouldn't be that bothered if he went there. It's not like we are going to pass them in the table, especially if they get RvP as well. PSG would have been better though. Surprised they didn't just buy Modric for that price or even slightly less.

Spurvert has said the same thing (see twitter thread), seems like they're both just guessing though

Just can't see any sense in removing Benny with no replacement or upgrade? He's a quality player, rarely injured, totally settled and would take some replacing! He's also a company man; it's his job and he'll do what he's asked! VDV would be a surprise as it would go against what AVB, VDV and the ITKers have said plus he is classy and versatile. Sure his injury record is a bit meh and he's not for the long term, but I'd be surprised if now was the time to cash in.

they're probably guessing but it adds up. and if it's true, it works in our favour if it forces madrid to pay what we're asking. it works against us if they refuse and we've no choice but to sell to united. he is exactly what they need, and i hate them. i preferred the scenario up to 20 minutes ago: he stays or we get 40m for him and we never see him again.

JJ's info is becoming clearer.

He said the other night that we could get Ade & Leandro but maybe even better. The even better is Llorente it seems after A&C's summarisation today (on p2 or p3).

Ryantegan who seems to have JJ's earhole (and maybe his bumhole too) confirmed this.

So according to JJ we could have Adebayor sewn up BUT we're hoping to get Llorente instead. If not we'll stick with Adebayor.

The constant in all this is Leandro who we'll hopefully sign whatever happens.

This is JJ's info - but will it come to pass?

Answers on a postcard to A&C's mum.
Mum loves a postcard. What I posted was just my guess, I haven't heard a thing from JJ in ages.

I'm hearing from my source that last week Real Madrid offered 31.5m plus a salmon bagel for Modric. Levy refused so Madrid came back with the same cash offer but added cream cheese to the salmon bagel. Levy is currently mulling over this offer as we speak.

Why should Lucas Moura going to PSG mean that United turn their attentions to Modric?

Lucas I believe would be replacing Nani out wide and personally, I think Man Utd have always been in the hunt for Modric.
