Getting rid of Lennon would be a massive mistake.

Lennon on the right and Bale on the left scare the opposition defence shitless with their pace
I don't want lennon to leave and don't think he will, unless AVB has seen some lifestyle issues Aaron prefers that he dislikes.....
Images of the little guy smoking fat Cuban Cigars in a SA airport lounge left a bad memory 2 yrs back..
Lets be honest, these guys are our heroes, they play for our once in your life football club, but we don't really know them personally

Just buy some fucking striker already. All this talk bout several outgoings and incomings, for the first time i really start to get worried we're not gonna be sorted by the Newcastle game.

got to say I pretty much feel the same, if we haven't signed a striker by say Sunday I think the team for Newcastle will be locked and all the focus will be on developing a shape for the game with the players we have and if we do manage to sign one in the week leading up to the game they will only make the bench at best - far from ideal given we have had over 2 months to address this

Why is it that when an ITK says something like 'We're signing Moutinho' or whoever, we get a shitload of 'he'll never come' or 'It ain't happening' comments but as soon as an ITK utters something seen as bad news everyone starts throwing lengths of rope around tree branches and looking for a handy stool to perch on.

I hope we keep Lennon, I think under a good coaching team and fitness team he can be devastating. Harry didn't get too specific with instructions so Lennon has alot of creative freedom, someone like Villas-Boas has had a great winger system at Porto and can help get the best from him. Plus if you sell him who can you buy??

In regard to the mass hysteria on here and I see on twitter everyday too, look around. Chelsea have done massive business but Man United signed Kagawa and Powell - hardly shaking in my boots. Arsenal are gonna lose Song and RVP, two of their best players, and Wilshere might not be back until Xmas. Sure Carzorla is a real quality signing but Giroud and Podolski ...the jury is out. Liverpool have bought Borini who is a good bench option..the vast majority of the team is the same as last year which would worry me if I was a Liverpool fan. City haven't done any business yet...showing how tough the market is.

We have signed probably one of the best CB available in Europe in Vertonghen, only better CB deal this summer was Thiago Silva. Sigurdsson is a fantastic and versatile option with an eye for goal from midfield - something we sorely lacked for years. Sure we don't have a striker yet but strikers are in short supply and you have to get it right. Also we still have Luka Modric, not much he can do if Madrid don't meet our price.

Sorry to write an essay but I think people are being ridiculous.

Lucky that was all he was smoking after dragging Glen Johnsons arse out the shit so many times during the WC before getting dropped into the bargain. Really can't stand GJ for knocking Lennons confidence at the start of last season.

Thinking about it, Lennon has had a summer off this year.... Can't wait to see him running at defences.

We're Spurs supporters aren't we? We're used to get our hopes up until we jizz our pants and then we stand there deadline day crying. :(

Lennon isn't leaving regardless of any rumors. He is a fundamental part of our strongest starting 11(RW) and I'm sure AVB knows this his pace is sublime and on his day crosses and passes with the best of them. Selling him would be a big mistake and I can't think of any suitable replacements off the top of my head who are obtainable. I can however see DL selling for a big profit if an offer of £25 million+ is tabled. Would personally be gutted if it happened though.

I will wager one fifth of my left testicle that the starting line up against Newcastle contains at least one player we have yet to sign.

akqayid@akqayid
Let's get this clear.... It's hypothetical about Lennon and in no way ITK, I just wanted to see the options YOU thought could replace

Seems akqayid is playing silly buggers again.

Hugely neglected? Cmon.

He played a decent amount of matches considering his injuries.

I LOVE Sandro, but he was pretty hit or miss last season as well. He is young so it is to be expected but people act like he should of been the first name on the team sheet it really wasn't the case.

Forgive me if i'm wrong Franchise60 but you seem to be rather petty and immature.

Granted you (unconvincingly at that) quoted me and argued against my points which is all great and I took them on board; surely then you must of recognised that the conflicting points in your WHOLE large paragraph obviously implied you were 'disagreeing' with me.

So why is it when I finally come around to reading your counter-argument and mark it 'disagree' alike to several others do you then feel the need to go back to my original post and click 'disagree'...

Not that I care it's a rating system on a forum but I care moreso that you demonstrated such a petty trait of one-upmanship.

Just my two cents anyway.

Because the majority of people on here are on medication of some description ;)

What you are saying makes sense, but i cant bring myself to believe that we wont sign someone AND integrate them by Newcastle

Must be in reference to Lloris or Adebayor AC? Highly doubt Leandro or any other named players could be done in time

And I'll wager the other 4/5th of A&Cs left testicle that we have at least 1 more by Reading Away.
