The apologists are just as old, how many windows are some of you going to make the same excuses for our failure to address the issues in the squad?

This is a Spurs forum, we want to be successful and can plainly see what we need. It's a disgrace that this hasn't been sorted out by now. End of.

LD has just lost a major final and may well be on a downer, if we do sign him I wouldn't want him in the spot light straight away anyway

Rather he play second fiddle to an Adebayor while he gets up to speed with living in a new country, playing a different type of football and gets used to his team mates. Wouldn't want him thrown in the deep end with expectations to hit the ground running or instantly be written off as an expensive flop.

In my opinion if we do sign him he should be seen as one for the future first and foremost and blooded in in similar fashion to Sandro.

Thats what last season should have been for when we had Adebayor in on loan. Damiao could have adapted slowly, then stepped up this year as our number 1 striker.

must be Adebayor!

Are you getting excited about akqayid's tweet? He just said that's what people need...not that it was about to happen. The F5 comment is almost certainly based on an educated guess (made up of what he's been told, and what he's read elsewhere) seeing as Ade looks pretty imminent from several accounts.

Apparently we are skint, saddled with debt and Harry squandered what little money we had. It must be true, I read it on here.

I wish I was eductaed. No seriously I do.

I havent put a time against it, but decent meeting today with an old friend and client. He has no reason to speak riddles or lies. Just said, 'Ade's done then? Who do you think is next?'

The client/old friend now works at City

No.....given that I've just said that it ties in with Ben's info.

Agreed. It's not ITK. It's simply a "what we need" tweet.

That may well be but your assumption that it's Levy's fault is based on your personal perception of the situation which is in turn based on what you read on here, see on the pitch and red on news now... Good job.

From somewhere else. He was at training ground. Which was well documented Friday evening and Saturday morning

Ah! A salient end to any discussion.

Caps would have been my preference. Maybe even a cheeky "FACT" added in for weight/authority. All in all, a satisfactory end to a completely NITK post.

Well the blame was put on the old manager for a while there, DL won't back him as he's off for England/can't make his mind up on players etc.

Now we have a new man in, have signed players anyways before the manager even got here and haven't strengthened in key areas with the big kick off under a week away.

You don't believe DL is at the heart of the matter, I do. It's not all been plain sailing here for the messiah Levy, who too many make excuses for.

Same with Lloris too.
Adebayor and Damiao are only ones JJ seems to have confirmed and seem to be the two genuinely closer.

Maybe playign other links down as they are too early in the process and doesnt want to draw attention to them. EG If Arsenal know we have had a bid accepted for M'Vila, and with Song seemingly on his way, they'd be straight back in there. Would be beneficial if we can get it done under the radar.
Actually I think he said we did put in an early bid for Lloris, it was rejected and we haven't gone back since. So it could still happen I guess if Lyon return with a more reasonable valuation of their keeper.

Don't come on here and feel you have to justify yourself mate! There are too many whining biatches on this forum who's mental state swings like a flag in the breeze. You tell us the info you have and we decide whether to believe it.

The only thing I would say is that there should be a clearer distinction between "itk" and personal opinion.

Keep up the good work!

I agree, it would have been much better to have brought him in during the winter window last year

I however don't know the ins and outs of our dealings with his club or indeed if the player himself was prepared to leave at that time, maybe he wanted to stay put until after the Olympics?! maybe his club was just not dealing with us reasonably, who really knows?

I just think there is no point talking about what ifs and we can only suggest what we think should happen now, personally I think we should bring him in now and blood him in relatively slowly to get the best out of him long term.

If you're not ITK that we're lacking in firepower, then you're not too savvy. Fact.

It's been very very obvious for a while now.
