With JJ flying in the face of a lot of the other ITKs it's clear there's some big miss information being fed through somewhere... I'm listening to JJ and no one else for now, not saying the others don't have good info but somethings clearly getting lost somewhere at the moment... Maybe the misinformation being passed through is intentional. But somewhere somebody isn't being truthful perhaps for good reason... God knows. Fingers crossed we blag through August.

So JJ is saying nothing is close, that's including Adebayor I assume...

with all the other info suggesting Ade is done, announcement imminent etc.....a pretty big discrepancy right there.

A lot of mixed info swinging about.

And just to vent more frustration, does DL actually think if we wait until the last week with Modric money in he bank that other clubs are going to sell cheap. If anything its going to work out more expensive as clubs won't want to sell with hours to go!

I would assume its just a personal reference to Ryan ie didn't he mention that in relation to his boss one time...

Indeed, another Aguero / Rossi last minute bid with no time for selling club to find a replacement scenario on the horizon.

Although I don't want to sound like one of those insane conspiracy theorists on a late night channel 5 documentary... I'm starting to get the impression the high level people at spurs are feeding bullshit to people inside the club... People who normally have good ITK are disagreeing on so many things. God knows what the fuck is going on.

Could the Ade deal be on the back burner due to Llorente's admission of not signing a new contract and speculation that we have made a bid?

Honestly, I don't see anything happening pre Newcastle and WBA games now and that includes significant outgoings too ie Modric.

Surely we've all but given up on the 'before Newcastle' timeline'?

JJ is clear in his assertion that 31st August is our [for 'our' read 'Levy] deadline and hasn't crushed any hope that things will get done by then.
Again, Ade not coming till later is probably up to £500k saved, this is Levy's schtick.
And rest assured, JJ isn't the doom-mongerer of ITK. When the deals get done, he'll be the first to tell us; he'll make us happy!

Does anybody know Porto's situation regarding their midfielders, would they have somebody in their ranks to slot in if Moutinho was sold late on.

Clutching at straws I know, but if not I'll be keeping an eye on any business they do from now until the end of the window.
