I hope he comes to us!

Seems like Sig is our replacement for Modders then...underwhelming to say the least.
Sig in no way is a modric replacement he needs to improve his passing to be as good as VDV imo

Moutinho must be in the bag if we're letting this happen...right? right?

I find the option to buy hard to believe.

Arsenal apparently wanted one but Real said no, now all over a sudden Liverpool get it when they earlier agreed to a simple one year loan...

Just how many central midfielders do Liverpool need and yet they will still be lucky to finish in the top 6 no matter how good Satin is.

gutted for Arsenal :ROFLMAO:

not sure about the option to buy, might be one. But Sahin has made it clear he has every intention of returning to madrid

Arsenal were calling themselves as PL winners after signing Nuri Sahin last week. Today he's joining Liverpool. Brilliant.

Liverpool are paying £5mil up front to loan Nuri Sahin for a year with no option to buy. Real signed him on a 5-year-deal for £7.9mil. Wow.

This is complete lies that has been made up by bitter Arsenal fans.

We are paying 2m loan fee and picking up 70% of his wages for the season.

We have a first refusal agreement set at a certain fee should Madrid and Sahin decide next summer that they would indeed prefer to part ways.

so not complete lies, although he is an arsenal fan.

A certain fee if.. but what if they don't want to sell? then you don't get him. There is no option to buy as that implies Liverpool hold the cards when in fact Real still do. First refusal is not the same.

2m is about normal for a loan fee.

I wonder if the reason they wouldn't give him to Arsenal is because there's a chance he might want to stay there, queering any later attempt to sell him elsewhere. No one would want to stay at Liverpool....

As a Liverpool fan, what's your immediate thoughts on Rodgers? I was pretty surprised by the amount of long balls last night, I know it's very, very early days but I thought they would have been reduced significantly even now.
