How the fuck did we lose out on Moutinho? I just can't see it happening any more and I'm fuming.

With the amount of money we've got from transfers, and the amount we are saving in wages we should EASILY be able to afford him. Fuck me, why the fuck do I even bother.

Dempsey is a decent player but he'll be 30 soon. To those saying Dempsey has 17 goals, he also had 6 assists. VDV had 11 goals and 7 assists in 1100 minutes less last season. It's a downgrade. What a pisstake.

Looks like Dembele will have to play in the playmaker role then without Moutinho. Played very well there against Man Utd, although we fans will need to accept he is a different player to Modric.

I think we are fuckin boarder line here. We are one, ONE signing away from having a really good window and a better squad. It all boils down to the moutinho signing. Sadly i dont think its gonna happen.

I live in the US and see enough of Clint Dempsey on Fox Soccer (where they rave about him) to know that he's not shit. He's no VDV, but scored 20 goals last season from midfield in an average team. I think he will be good cover on the wings, but not a starter.

We can't complain really. Siggs Verts, Ade, Lloris, Dempsey, Dembele SIX great additions to the squad. The 3 losses unavoidable.

If we are not getting Moutinho it's just as well Jenas is staying with Parker out for a couple of months and Huddlestone being Huddlestone.
