Couldn't agree more....also vs panathinakos ,got caught out of position, too slow to get back......and vs Norwich, nowhere near grant holt for the lead up to their winner......it pains me to say it but he is just not good enough......we could still be in the league cup, virtually qualified for next Europa league round ,and probably a draw vs citeh....if it wasn't for these basic defending errors.

We have to realise that just cos his a really really top bloke, doesn't make him a top player, i wish he was but he a isn't , i wish he was a brilliant ****

Naughton bless him is just not an top flight player.

Let Gallas play there if Walkers unfit mentally or otherwise.

Gallas* Dawson* Caulker Verts*
Lennon Sandro Livermore Bale
--------------- Ade
---------------Defoe

*needs must

WTF he has looked good for a player playing out of position and last year proved he is a good premier league player

Has he even played once for us at RB, in his preferred position?! I can't remember him ever doing so, so hold the daggers back and give him a chance.

It's like saying Vertonghen isn't good enough for us because he's been poor at LB recently.

Its all about opinion - I'd rather play Clint there;)

Seriously he brings nothing to our game - yes he is a stop gap and plays like it - Rose is far better 'in my opinion'.

Verts has not been poor - granted he now look tired and fed up but not poor.

No daggers here, I'm just not his biggest fan - This does not mean I would have him put down, no - I just would not have in my team.

"Daggers" christ alive.

I agree with you about Naughton SteveH, but unfortunately not about Rose. He is the gashest of the gash.

Rose is a LB, and he hasnt really played in his correct position, I actually prefer him to Walker as his positioning is better

Saying he's not a top flight player is pretty insulting, if you ask me.

You could be right Re Walker! just shows how poor Walker is under AVB.
Walkers problems are various the main one for me is dont think he is the sharpest knife in the draw.

IF AVB gave a folder to read regarding tactic for forthcoming match - Kyle would sit on it coz it gave him a better view when watching Xfactor innit!

He looks like he's been told to play it simple and give it to a centre back.........

Think Rose is better but Spurs_Bear thinks Rose is gash innit.............opinion ever ass*^&* has one. ;)

It's a bloody shame because ,as u said, he's a top bloke....but he's nowhere near the player he was a few years ago.....it seems that playing next to Ledley made him look a much better player....whether this was down to confidence or not I don't know....but his mistakes this year, have been very costly.

Naughton--Gallas--------------Caulker----Vertonghen
-------------Huddlestone-----Carroll-----------------
Falque--------------Sigurdsson-----------bale----

I feel that that is a strong team despite missing a core first team but I think Sandro is fit and if you look at their midfield both wilshere and Carzola are very agile so I wouldnt start Hudd as if a player gets a turn on him we are screwed

Does it matter? Seriously. Sandro can't do it all himself. We're going to get an absolute drubbing I fear.

Hopefully I'm just being hormonal and it is the NLD so anything can happen. I'm seeing very little to be excited about though. If the team showed the tiniest bit of fight I might feel better about things but they don't. I expect another timid, directionless pile of wank, orchestrated by squad fillers, new guys and put upon yoof players.

we drew 2-2? :nailbiting:

haha I know Redknapp changed it at half time but we were getting absolutely roasted in the middle of the park, 3 against 2 in the middle away from home just doesn't work, especially to a team with a midfield as fluid as there's

At our current form and injuries the best advice I can give you for Saturday is to close your eyes and ears and hope for the best.

Dempsey isn't in your team thus not worst case 11.
