Where are the goals gonna come from tonight if we leave out our top goalscorer?

Adebayor doesn't look like scoring, Bale doesn't look like scoring, Lennon never looks like scoring, Dempsey never looks like he's even on the pitch, our central midfielders never score and to be honest most of the time Defoe doesn't even look like scoring but he just does.

I hate the guy but I wish we had a player like Suarez, just someone who was a nuisance to the opposition and who also has flair, even a bit of arrogance and likes to express themselves all to good effect.

To be honest we really need Adebayor to start picking up some goals. The back heel to Huddlestone against Man City said it all, I would like to see him be more selfish when in front of goal.

working under the premise that dembele, walker, lennon, and defoe are not fit (at least fit enough to start - and dempsey's form is so low right now). All due respect to the young tom carroll, but dropping him in to start the NLD does not seem a good idea IMHO

I'm shocked so many people here are realistically excluding Dempsey, Friedal, and Defoe. All three will start (though they shouldn't) in my opinion, as AVB has shown himself to be ultra stubborn. It will take one more loss and serious intervention from Daniel Levy before Lloris and Adebayor are starters in this side permanently.

Ahem... ;)

AVB has placed lloris, walker, gallas, vertonghen naughton, THudd, sandro, lennon, bale, adebayor, and defoe in hams way today,... guess some of the Spurs' injuries were not quite accurate, but no one even mentioned caulker before the line up came out

All said and done, what matters even more than the formation is how we apply ourselves. That midfield is going to be huge worry though, Hudd is incapable of applying himself diligently for more than about 30 minutes.

Lots of people wanted these changes. Let's stop the criticism and back it now.
