No option but to go 4 - 4 - 2 I fear. I think AVB knows Dempsey isn't working behind either Ade or Defoe.
I agree in part,... and since siggi isn't lighting the world on fire, I think AVB passed on just "plugging" him into Dempsey's spot.

the key is going to be how Ade and Defoe work together,.... uhhh, not sure Defoe works "with" anyone particularly,... he does "run ahrand ahbit" though :playful:

COYS!! :chicken:

Let's also hope Jan pulls his game up now he's in his natural position; looked very sloppy last few games albeit in an unnatural position.

Im hoping Lloris has a worldy and forces himself to be number 1. I expect Sandro to at the very least murder one of the Arsenal midfielders and possibly eat another before half time. Ade to score today.

I am very pleased with Lloris and Adebayor starting. I read that AVB said that Levy had been stressing to him the importance of this game to the club, which makes me wonder if that had any influence on his starting line-up.

Nevertheless, I expect a win today with this line-up.

Very interesting lineup, Will be interested to see if thats a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 formation with Adebayor dropping behind Defoe.
must be 4-4-2 surely?..... that would be interesting to have Ade in the VDV position in a 4-2-3-1,.... weird role reversal that would be

Paolo must be spitting feathers about Bradley but we have to trust in Lloris who will hopefully be our present and future goalkeeper for many a year.

Just hope nothing happens for the media to stigmatise him with.

Well what AVB is basically saying with this line up is "fuck that, we can't match them, let's go for a 6-5 win".

I predict a mad game, in which anything could happen now. We could either lose 4-0, or win 5-4. Either way it will be uncomfortable to watch. I hate these games. I'm 22, so like Derren Brown associates a tapping of his fingers with certain emotions, I associate NLDs with pain, anguish and dread. So yes I'm bricking it.

Sandro needs to be immense. Containing the movement of wilshere carzola and arteta is key.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

Sandro is immense, but does not need to mark 3 players by himself,... THudd can mark arteta, not like either of them are fleet of foot... so Sandro will only have 2 marks... :playful:

Ade+Defoe have the man advantage up top for Spurs,.... whereas wilshire+carzola ave the man advantage for their midfield,.. we'll see starting in about 20 minutes - COYS!!!! :chicken:
