Lloris - 6.5 - Effective as always sweeper-keeper; hyercritical to say he could of done better with
their goal?

Naughton - 6.5 MOTM - Impressed me today, not too much going forward (stupid high balls into the box)
but overall defensively good.

Dawson - 6.5 - Sound defensively and would of preferred him to stay on over Caulker

Caulker - 5.5 - I just don't particularly like him as a defender. He's got good potential but lacks
so much composure its unreal and was wrong to play him against a magician such as Berbatov.

Vertonghen - 5.5 - Was impressive 1st half but very poor by his standards 2nd half. Disappointing

BAE - 5 - Caught out for the goal and looked woeful when (albeit played out of position) at left wing
Offered absolutely nothing and crossing was terrible.

Dembele - 6 - Not his usual graceful self, needs to learn to shoot more when outside the box. Don't
remember him gliding past one player today.

Parker - 3 - I'm being generous here. Abysmal. He messed up SO many 5 yard passes it's unreal. He takes
about 20 touches and 15 spins before releasing a ball - Puts so much pressure on the team.

Bale - 5 - Only due to his high standards. Believing the hype too much about himself. Several times
he knocked the ball ahead of himself and tried to run past 4-5 Fulham players. Needs to pass more
and realise when the game isn't going for him. So many wild terrible shots

Gylfi - 6 - Tried today but hard to get into the game and was playing in another unnatural position.
Would still take him over Dempsey in the team anyday

Adebayor - 5.5 - Improving but my God does he barely offer anything as a striker with such an impressive
CV. He was marked out of the game and did work hard for the team - But that's not enough.

Subs:

Defoe - 5.5 - Didn't really have a chance with all the high balls flying into the box. Had one shot
possibly could of done better not sure. Obvious we need a new striker in summer. Think he should of
scored in the last few mins seemed right at him - Thought that was his speciality?

Carroll - 6.5 - Not going to go crazy and give him a 7 but was at least positive upon coming on and
had some neat passes and skills. Would like to see him given more of a chance but hard with how
we line up (he can't really do the Parker role as a destroyer so)

Dempsey - 5.5 - He is just average. Not terrible, not good - Average. No real pace, skill, any
stand out abilities. Not good enugh for us.

Manager:

AVB - 4 - Got it all wrong. Once again (same at Inter). BAE outwide? Just tell Bale to play where there.
He has done it for season after season and would of given us some natural width. Holtby in the hole.
It was stupid and demonstrated tactical naivety from AVB - Would like him to concede he got this one
wrong. I liked Walker being dropped but didn't like Caulker playing up against Berbatov. Also felt
Parker should of been dropped for Holtby - What has the kid got to do to catch a break?

Overall feeling:
There goes top 4 - Not that I ever fully believed it as we are the ultimate legends.
Don't see us doing Chelsea or even a half-hearted City (when they have Toure, Kompany and Aguero
back). Also it's routine to expect to drop points away to Stoke and Swansea.
We can hypothesis all we want but I feel this was the season to either build on and push for a title
challenge or dwell as a team that was always 'there abouts for top 4'. Shame.
I don't want to see Parkeror Dempsey near our team next game.
Where are all those people who say Lennon isn't vital or we need to replace him? I simply will indicate
for you to watch today's game.

Bale had a bad game yet he still created an open goal for Defoe to miss and he was injured so I will give Bale a 6, Lloris and Carroll and 8 with Vertonghen on a 7

The rest -10 and AVB -60

Come on? Are we getting that desperate? An 8 for Carroll for 2 passes that came off and about 4-5 that didn't. He offered a bit of incisiveness but that's a bit overboard isn't it?

Holy shit there are some generous scores in this thread. Adebayor and maybe Carroll were the only ones who put in a shift worth more than 2 points

At least he got himself in scoring positions and got 2 shots on target. Ade did less in 90 mins than Defoe did in 20.

If any of our four strikers were actually anticipating that our key passer might ever pass to them and thus want to move at any point, rather than shamefully stand on their heels and then chase after passes that had cut open the defence, more of Carroll's passes would have "come off". There was only one pass slightly overhit from the kid while he was on, and he moved so well to receive and keep the tempo. Definitely Man of the Match, which says it all when he was only on the pitch for 25 minutes.

If we sign a striker with a brain, I reckon Carroll would be one of the first names on our team sheet.

Didn't see much of the game as my stream was about as good as some of Parker's ratings?

Was he that bad though as i still heard a rendition of "Super Scott" in one of the brief periods i had sound/picture

Yeah these are the same fans that chant Defoe's name after he ballons his shot over after ignoring team mates in better positions...
