Indeed they should, but this was also a case of quick and positive reading of the game, and quick and positive decision making; in an attacking context, giving rise to two goals. That goes further than just good technique, and you wouldn't necessarily expect that of every player on the pitch unless we were talking about Barca maybe...

I was surprised at how, well, "easy" Michu beat Daws in the air again and again. And, as already mentioned, Michu really came across as disgusting cheater - in the class of Suarez. Particularly the incident when Michu tried to get Jan sent off by faking being punched was in really bad taste. Plus, when he faked being tackled, then stood up when he realized the ref saw the he dived and no Spurs player touched: but why wasn't he penalised for diving?

Yup, you're right - and I agree.
I meant to add that I'd love Michu in a Spurs shirt.
I have now added this - because I would love him in a Spurs shirt!
I think my Daws quote was more about him being pure Spurs....full of good stuff but can never be trusted 100%!

monumental result. didn't expect the chavs to lose so that was a bonus. scum had a banker so no surprise there. still going to go to the wire but if we don't lose against the chavs we've got a massive chance. can't believe we're third with ade up front, just beggars belief. maybe one of those cosmic things that continually shafts us is going to help us just this once.....

Ha. Missed the game, was constantly checking the result. Heart sank when they got a goal back. Chickened out and shoved another chicken dipper into my fizzog. Only checked, with one eye open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

I was never worried. :cautious:
