The younger brother of whatever Pritchard who is one of our junior players?
Nope-no relation!
The younger brother of whatever Pritchard who is one of our junior players?
That's naive.
Those 3 clubs all have new managers; no guarantee of success.
Doesn't matter what anyone else does, if we improve say 5 points then we'll be in that 4; maybe we might not even need to improve! Surely Villas Boas has that amount of improvement in him given a clear run, a settled system & a couple of players?
You just presume that everyone else will improve and we won't!I guess it's about opinions I cant see anything different from those three plus isn't it naive to think we might not need to improve of course we do cos we have failed in the last two seasons.
Must resist......Must resist........I have no doubt in my mind that we will sign the players needed to keep both AvB and Bale happy its just up to Levy as to when this happens.
You just presume that everyone else will improve and we won't!
Very fatalistic...
Simple fact: mid to high 70s points gets Champions League. Why not us next year?
Last post on this but there are only so many points to go around, everyone can't improve.70 plus points may well get a spot I don't disagree with you but 4/5 other teams IMO will be above us not defeatist just realistic.

Vermaelen is not going to join a team to be second choice, especially when there's a WC coming up and the national coach emphasizing candidates have to get enough game time for their club side. For that and other reasons I cannot see him join us.I disagree slightly as Vermaelan would come in as a second choice LCB, I heard Adams speaking about Vermaelan years ago and he said he felt he was always a better LB than a CB

Gone a bit quiet about Baldini hasn't it? It's concerning me that we haven't appointed him yet. What are we waiting for?
also to add Ade cannot be worst than last seasonLast post on this but there are only so many points to go around, everyone can't improve.
For us to end up lower in the league table we would most likely have to regress & I see no reason for that to happen since we're likely to reap the benefit of stability through Andre's second season, we have the best player in the league, we might have a striker and we are on a clear upward curve.
also to add Ade cannot be worst than last season
I don't think we'll have an Ade next season
The situation this year is a little different from past years. Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea all have new coaches. Each team will need to settle under Management. Spurs are settled with their coach. Even with incomings the team will be more settled than the competition. More than ever Spurs need a good start to the season. It could make all the difference to the order in which the challenging teams finish.Must resist......Must resist........

With all that in mind, surely this is the time to set the team early? That means no more so-called "Levy time".
Transfers need to be completed early. This would gives Spurs an advantage over the competition.
Timing is vital.
Now is not the time to penny-pinch...
