Strange to like a player after working with him?

Signing for QPR did happen after he played for spurs right?

He also signed Jenas for QPR and yet hardly gave him a kick at spurs. Different needs for different situations led to that.

Harry was more than happy to keep with what we had that January, that I know is a fact.

But didn't he also say in an interview that he'd tried to sign nelson previously (to his time at spurs) and for one reason or another hadn't been able to ?

Here's a quote from the man himself from the BBC:

http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/21255960

Redknapp said: "I tried to sign Ryan Nelsen many times over the years when he was at Blackburn. I finally got him on a free at Tottenham and he is a top pro, a top guy and I wish him well.

That doesn't sound like he took much over head forcing.

Where abouts are you? I used to live on the lizard peninsula near the helford river

Quite a way further down (West). Penzance, approx 10 miles from Lands-End, 7 miles from St Ives (love it there in the summer, muchos scantily clad femmes), within an hour of literally EVERYWHERE in Cornwall.

I'm at Sandy Lane now, I saw johnny Evans earlier and Neil Buchanan from art attack.

they did an art attack for art attack in one of our fields when I was a kid. Filmed at Maidstone studios, and we lived nearby.

Neil Buchanan came and did a big snail that viewers saw from a birds eye view (or crane). He did all the huge snail himself too - no flunkeys!

Are these "50's" Fahrenheit or Centigrade?

We don't do Celsius in 'Merica. Because it makes too much f***** sense. And the metric system is an Bilderberger plot to control you sheep.*

But it also doesn't say

"I wanted bassong out on loan for a bit of profit so I could bring nelson in at the end of his career on a free midway through a CL qualification season"

I'm not denying Harry thought nelson was a good player, and it turns out that in fact Harry felt he could assist him later on at his next club. I'm just pointing out that it wasnt a plan born inside the mind of Harry Redknapp. It was a contingency set up after the event of bassong being let go for a loan fee above Harry's head

Spent way too much time in Maidstone when I was a kid, as it was pretty much the nearest big town to us. Can't stand the place.

Never saw Neil Buchanan though. Or Kyle Walker for that matter.

that whole thing was weird because the season he joined us Nelsen had been injured for Blackburn and was all set to return to the MLS and take up a coaching role, which he did eventually anyway.

SM, did he touch you? He did, didn't he? And you told A&C about it, didn't you? This would explain A LOT of what's talked about on here!!

Ok.
It was a joke stating as a player i would not like to miss a trip to HK for obvious reasons.
Secondly, its all well and good having a player in time for preseason, however 4 players bought in august as oppose to june will save.......

Remember my A* in further Maths!!
4 players X 60K(approx) = 240K
240K X 8weeks = 1.9M (a month) i know its not a lot for DL , however every little counts.

May even be more as those figures may be net wages and so the actual figure being paid out would be near double that according to our tax as I understand it.

How are you with Kelvin (or in the Fahrenheit system, Rankin)?
