I got to say, Mkhitaryan looks pretty similar to our boy Siggy.

Lets just sign Bernard instead and everyones a winner. :)

If we are going to spend huge we should go for Lamela, if we are going to spend big we should get Bernard. We should not spend huge or big on a player that plays the same positions as Sig and Holtby, who I think could be as good if not better then HM in a few years. I do think Mickey is a good player but not one we should be spending money on. Bernard please.

Tottenham does not stop. Paulinho is close, but the English club is ready to sign another shot. This is the footballer Mkhitaryan Shakhtar Donetks. The operation is in progress, we are working Mino Raiola and technical area manager Franco Baldini. The Ukrainian coast 22 million. And Tottenham now press.

Seems a bit strange this link, very good player but at £25m expensive, if we're signing him to play on the left I think that money would be better spent on Bernard or with juve signing tevez and higuian looking like going to the scum surely jovetic's suitors are out the way and I think he'd be a better bet for the left?

I'd be more than happy though to get Bernard/jovetic, paulinho, villa and mkhitarayan lol

I didn't realise this fella has the same agent as Lloris.

"One of the most wanted players in Europe, Henrik Mkhitaryan, was again associated with the Spurs, after all the controversy surrounding his future. Mkhitaryan and Hugo Lloris share the same agent and that fact might leverage his possible move to Tottenham."... http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/joel.am...dly-agreed-to-personal-terms-with-david-villa

I take it that Lloris' agent is Mino Raiola then? Because that's who the recent ITK said was Mkhitaryan's agent. That guy has a ridiculous amount of clients, he must be rolling in it.

Yeah, I think it's widely-known that Mkhitaryan is one of his clients. And Raiola has a bunch of very good clients, you're right.

But in the transfer thread that LFC, according to CEO Ian Ayre at least, almost have Mkhitaryan in the bag for £25m.

Wherever he ends up it will be known by end of next week at very latest.

FWIW, several Journos in Russia/Armenia are backing this up by saying a fee was agreed today, however the most clued in journo, and closest to the players camp, didnt say outright the agreed deal was with Liverpool.

If you want to stay clued in follow @arturpetrosyan on twitter as he is a good source for this player.

Is he all that? Genuinely?

I have my doubts. I could probably name at least 30 others id rather spend 25m on

£25m seems really excessive for this player. Daniel Levy does not pay over the odds for players, Liverpool have a history of doing so in recent windows

So even if Spurs were interested in him, pretty sure we would walk away at that price
