Haven't got a clue about other scouts but City had great young talent before the arabs started playing real life FM with unlimited cash and Carr was chief scout at City
He also unearthed Rio, Carrick, Cole, Lampard at West Ham

Parkies comment wasn't a judgement to the femininity of Gay men.
His son is Alan Carr, a man who possibly out camps anyone. That's what parkie meant.

But you said that you have "no idea" about any other scouts, how can you say he's better than all the hundreds of thousands of scouts you have no idea about?
For all the French talent he's "unearthed" there will be many many better players that someone else has.

I went into this window thinking that all we needed was to shift 2/3 players and bring in 2/3 players (including a striker and some creativity) and keeping Bale.
However it looks like we're potentially going to have the biggest squad overhaul in my lifetime, and I'm not a youngster.

huh? Demba Ba was at a not insignificant club before he arrived in the UK. How exactly did Carr "unearth" him?
Wenger, it might seem, bought over the crop of french talent at one particular time, and ultimately capitalised on that - his "scouting" has yielded hardly anything of note in comparison. You say Van Persie, I say he was at a big club.
There have definitely been more misses than hits in terms of recruitment at the goons.
