I'm sure if I had been in the middle of drinking something, it would have been spat all over the place after seeing that! LOL!

He's clearly passionate to play for Spurs. Love that. I think we've finally replaced Van Der Vaart, not in terms of position but the love he showed for the club. I think he's going to be fucking brilliant for us.

and berbatov in terms of quality ;)

Never got that vibe from him. Not that it is a black mark against him. No particular reason why he should feel that way. All he has to do is play to the best of his ability and try to maximise his chance of success with us. So far, he's done a damn good job. Neither does it mean I value him any less than a VDV for example. Just that I can more readily sympathise with that kind of player. Looking at it coldly, the fact that VDV obviously felt quite comfy here after his time at RM meant virtually nothing when it was clear that he needed to move on, for whatever reason.

None of them are married to the club though so it matters not one jot in the grand scheme of things. The main that has got me feeling frisky about Bobby is the 20 or so goals he'll bang in for us.

Can't wait to see him play against Arsenal. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and as soon as he gets a good reception at the Lane he's going to fucking love us.

They all kiss the badge when it suits

He is a excellent addition. But the rest. we will see :cautious: - truly hope "Bobby" :ROFLMAO: lives up to yours and everybody else's expectations.

That is a thing of beauty :)

He seems to love us already, I can see him being as popular as VDV, kissing the old dears in the crowd when he scores :D . It's so exciting to have a brilliant striker play for us again!

I love him already :) I have this mental image of him and Sandro being best buddies now!!!

I was sat behind him in a sushi restaurant in Valencia about 18 months ago. I didn't have the balls to say hello, because he was with an attractive lady having a quiet meal. But all these kids spotted him from outside, and kept coming up to the window and waving at him.

So he went outside and let all of them have photos with him, and their parents too. Then he drove away in a Mini. :cautious:

He seems like a classy guy off the pitch, and I agree with the VDV comparisons on it. He seems to be a real fighter who'll bust a gut. (And get booked a lot :D )

hoping for some vdv style celebrations
The one after he scored the equaliser against the scum in the 3-3 is one of my favourite things ever. He was so pumped he couldn't keep his finger to his lips when 'shhh-ing' their fans. I hope Soldado brings that kind of attitude to the club.
