That's not true actually, I went to a conference earlier this year and the Bolton doctor and muamba were there talking plus that heart consultant/fan was a delegate. They all said he had no input until later at the hospital, the Bolton doctor said he told him to "fuck off" because he was getting in the way. He was really praising the spurs doctor (Shabaz?) for talking charge while he was panicking a bit

True, but still hoping the sales of all our bit part squad players will persuade levy to go for it. Willian is class imo and just what we need. Chadli will be great back up for all of the front 3 if we do get him or lamela and keep bale. Willian most obvious left side though. Here's hoping eh? Hoping for some itk on an offer being made.

Without trying to make it sound like ITK is a competition, LookLikeModric has clearly got fantastic info from within the club.

Have to say that if he is saying Bale will stay, that in itself makes me confident.

Our medical team was praised highly for there swift actions and rightly so.
Also after the incident our medical team then checked all players for alot of unidentified conditions not just heart conditions.
Our medical team are not solely to blame for our injuries it is down to alot of different factors.
They do there very best to get players back and fit to play and will not rush them back unnecessarily. They do a top job and if they wernt doing so DL would of done something. Players are assets dont forget!
They helped ledley when most people said he would never play again. England even got in our medical team to help ledley play. Even thou he knew he would break down(which he did) as he played too many games and needed recovery time. Him and our medical team said this to england at the time but he wanted to represent england at a major tournement and they push hard for him to go.
They are top proffessionals and there are alot of factors to why players get injuries eg.Diet,Training schedule,Genetics.
So please stop the comments it isnt correct.

I think that something's been misinterpreted, LLM said our physio team wasn't great but had praise for our medical team IIRC.

And an ITK pops up with spending. Hope that somewhat kills off the spending = Bale going chatter. Someone stated before that £50m was given to spend and that didn't include Paulinho.

I'm confident Bale is staying and a two or three more to join by the end of the window.

For us to be real contendors, we need at least another cb, a quality lb, and another quality striker. I could though see a Bale replacement and cam.

Our spending is getting a bit ridiculous... We are legitimately 2 or so players away from challenging with City and Chelsea for the title. It feels strange

Surely it is about picking when to gamble. New managers at most of the top clubs, very little difference in terms of squad strength between us and the top boys, new FFP measure coming in so last time we can spend big for a while, currently have a coach we believe in, etc.

If we want to close the gap this is the time. I'll keep everything crossed for Capoue, Halilovic, Lamela, Coentrao and Chiriches.

Last summer to do it, and a good summer as well (imo), with all the changes at the top of the league.

Could be a mixture of sick of finishing behind woolwich, FFP kicks in soon and finally having a promising young manager in at the helm who produced a very good debut season...........or Sandro just roundhoused him and JL got the hint.
