Its all guess work. Every part of building a football team requires opinions. But taken a proven asset away and replacing with an unproven one requires a lot less of it! You're reducing your variables.

if bale's sold then would that not make the 50m loan from lewis(if true) kind of redundant? or did we need that money to complete the deals we've done so far(which coincidentally adds up to 50m) before selling bale?
