by now I would of either expected him to put in a transfer request, if he is that desperate to leave then he should be willing to lose loyalty bonus (haha what a funny word LOYALTY), when we go back all those years when a players didn't need to kiss the badge.

now we have rumours he isn't even talking to his team mates.

its now beyond a joke, I think Id be happy if RM did HAVE the MONEY and he fucked off, cause i'm bored of it, and being a Spurs fan for over 40 years I want players that want to make THFC a great team.

I agree. I'm not bothered if Bale goes really, as long as we're adequately compensated and we have time to bring in a couple of additional faces. It's the dragging on and uncertainty of it all that is frustrating. If he was just normally involved in training it would be less of an issue but the 'injury' and training on his own just adds fuel to the media fire and the whole thing has been upsetting our pre season plans.

I really hope that the team (without bale) puts in an extremely efficient and professional performance in on Sunday. It would send a message for sure.

Hello

Just been told to expect some movement on the Gareth Bale situation today.

It wasn't good news.

Truckload of salt obviously.

Also the SP hold up is down to him but I can't elaborate in public yet what the hold up is.

I for one will stand up and clap Bale if he does play one last match for us.

If I wanted to change job, move to a better company with better prospects then I would hope that people around me would wish me all the best and leave with a handshake.

I cannot see that he is doing, or has done anything wrong.

If he wants tO leave, then by him being quiet seems to have stopped the hyper inflation of other prospective players tat may have been.

If he is going then we have still managed to bring in Soldado, Chadli & Capoue without CL football.

We are still allegedly in the game for a few other top names while not being part of CL football.

IMHO without Bale, we MAY not have been able to attract these players.

If he had kicked his toys out the pram, maybe we would not have the squad that we currently have, or may still end up with.

AND THAT IS ASSUMING THAT HE IS ACTUALLY GOING.

Yes I want him to stay, but He is not our slave, our pawn to dance to whatever beat us fans want him to.

if he were my son, I would encourage him to continually better himself and to strive to play for and with the best in the world, and although it pains me a move to Real Madrid would fill that Criteria.

I would just like to say.....

GARETH BALE, IF YOU STAY I WORSHIP YOU. IF YOU GO I APPLAUD YOU!!! :notworthy:

Well thank f**k for that. Far too much distraction concerning GB. I'd rather have a definite answer so we can move on.

I'll lose so much respect for him if he goes. Complete mug.

What a waste.

I'm just pissed off that this whole sorry saga has sucked the entire window into its gaping maw. And for that Gareth: I hope Ronaldo spends the whole time purposefully and maliciously calling you 'George' because you creep him out.

This is my only fear.

£30m to United next summer.

Although he may be looking for a champions league team...

So yesterday in marca, they were reporting that GB had a meeting scheduled with DL. Then later on they reported that DL had cancelled the meeting. Today it turns out, DL is/was in fact in the US....Some people wonder why Spain is in such a 2 & 8, well this is just a small insight as to why....

Just as well he cancelled the meeting then if he was still in America. Wouldn't want GB sitting round on a little brown plywood chair outside his office picking his fingernails and doing a little slightly bored whistle whilst the boss wasn't even there would we?

Gone by Sunday. In all honesty is rather that than this constant pantomime.

And when the likes of Rafa and Klinsmann left I wished them luck.
But at 24 I think Bales jumping ship 1-2 years early so he can go fuck himself in the arse with his sore foot for all I care.

I can see him back in the Premiership in a couple of years.

Said a few pages back that we are going to end up being bitten in the arse on this deal.
Levy will have given in to a lower bid from Real, albeit still a World Record fee.
Secondly, he won't settle in that environment, so will be back in the PL by start of 2015/16 season at the latest.
Thirdly, we can't afford to buy him back when that happens.
If it's next summer it will be for United as Giggs will have retired that that 11 shirt he wants will be available.

It's the same method that Falcao is using to get his ultimate move to Real - do it via another club for a season or two!

If we are clever, we would put a 1st refusal clause in the sale. By that time hopefully we are champs league regulars and they can write off what they owe. In essence it turns out to be a 3 year loan worth 50m :)
