If am honest like everything, every player has his price and if the ITK states we have practically doubled his wages(Lamela) then i cant see why. Osvaldo was a dead cert for them anyway in my eyes he was never gonna come to us with AVB as he likes a group of players that really really gel with no bad apples if you look at his squads ecept chelsea but the bad ones there werent aloud to be moved on.

I really hope that isn't the case as this year we have been different and we have be excellent in our business. Problem is we've seen this all happen many times at Spurs and it does just seem right. Despite the pessimistic tone of this post I am still hopeful it will be different.

That said I am struggling with that nightmare scenario. I've come to terms with GB going but that all hinges on replacing him with the likes of Willian and Lamela.

If it wasn't for JJ I'd still be quite convinced that GB was staying, in which case things would be much more rosey.

That's how I see it too. The success or failure of this transfer window is still very much in the balance as far a I'm concerned. If we allow Bale to leave without bringing in a decent replacement, it will be a case of one step forward, two steps back as far as I'm concerned.

Breezer gives good info but in this case I've heard different. More to do with a child in Wales I believe.

Also LLM? Its not difficult to answer questions if your info stacks up. It just doesn't.

Just missing a bit of flair today, I expect that to change. And that's irrespective of bale. Like I said back in May, this summer we are full speed ahead. More players will sign.

I think we can safely say that the club wouldn't get away with selling Bale and not replacing him. I know we didn't replace Berbatov but Levy won't make the same mistake again.

Anyway, Bale isn't going anywhere.

Well he didn't exactly replace modric either

Anyway, my fear is we sell bale, mess around too much with our targets and end up with a dempsey again

Replacing VDV with Dempsey was a mistake but Dembele came in for Modric and he's awesome.

Bale is in the top ten players in the world, if Levy replaces Bale with someone like Chadli (Nothing against him) then he will have a mutiny on his hands.

Dembele is very good but not the same type as modric

It has gone a bit quiet regarding targets, Lamela was talked up a lot during the week, not sure what tbe Osvaldo transfer does to that.

For some reason Erikson doesn't strike me as the player to do the job. Today we were a bit rusty, but played well but we do need that extra bit of guile i there, hope targets become clearer next week.

Why do you think were being linked with Eriksen and Willian mate? AVB is almost certain to know this but its not easy to buy someone when they don't know whos leaving ect.

It maybe me being a pessimist but it looks like that his agent is angling our interest to get him a better contract with Roma. I hope not, he'd be a huge coup.

How have you determined that it's "good info"? I'd love to know as we're really struggling with that.

Also you've seriously got the wrong end of the stick. LLM told us his sources but they don't add up and all we wanted to do is clarify thing, has his sources changed, etc. After trying to clarify things with him for over a month with no response from him we can't let him continue posting what's looking more and more like it's made up without doing something.

Considering all it'd take from him is a simple message to us to solve it all I don't see how we are in the wrong. We're not even asking him to give anything away he's unhappy to, just to explain why what he did tell us looks to have been made up.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt that he's somehow missed a boat load of PMs (he's been active on here so not sure how he's missed them), we've added a notification that he can't miss. If he comes on and still ignores this then again, I don't see how we're in the wrong.
