The way he stands before he take the free kick, the way he's been styling his hair, the way he now dresses. Bale is one sad, insecure fucker. But he's our sad, insecure fucker... for now.

yeah i love the boy generally but all that stuff is hugely creepy and cringeworthy. Identical pose and exaggerated breathing before the freekick with the same kicking technique. The hair style and now the the cap and shades:censored:

kinda embarrassing, if he goes hope it doesnt turn into a nightmare, i really do

When Bale (or Ronaldo) does that I get an overpowering urge to run onto the pitch and kick him straight up the arse. It really winds me up.

Tottenham STILL to agree Bale deal with Real Madrid #RMCF #THFC --> http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/289

Greg Stobart. From truck driver to ITK....

I just can't see him staying though. Gutted but true. Everyone uses the phrase "where there's so much smoke there's fire" about deals like Willian and Lamela but when it comes to Bale it's like an oil refinery has been set alight and still we aren't accepting it.

Hope he doesn't, hope the ITK's are spot on, I just can't see it - and if he does stay then RM just don't have the money and would have attempted one of the biggest transfer bluffs in history

There may be some movement on the Gareth Bale deal after all. Gazzetta dello Sport's Carlo Laudisa, who I have been following for a long time and who rarely gets things wrong, says that the only thing remaining now before the deal is announced is for Spurs to agree personal terms with Fabio Coentrao. All in all the deal will be worth €108.5m.

Several of you will ask how an Italian has that information but like I said yesterday, Sky Italia broke the Guardiola to Bayern story and I do trust Laudisa.

It's a massive fee, if it's true!

same old story. Bale really want's to go, we are prepared to sell him but only for a massive figure. RM still haven't offered or can't pay that kinda money but they may do before the window closes.

It's been this way for some time now, but suppose jounalists need something to write about

Guardian via Italy now saying it's cash only with a four year payment structure:

-------------------------

Italian transfer guru Carlo Laudisa has been on again and now says Fabio Coentrao deal to Spurs is OFF! That will not stop the Gareth Bale deal though as Real have agreed to pay €109m over four years for the Welshman.
Is it true? Honest answer: I don't know. All I would say that Laudisa is not someone who goes around making up things for a few hits or followers so I can only presume he has a good contact, either in the Coentrao camp or with Real, and that it is true.

He is now saying that the deal with Coentrao is off
Without coentrao, that is even more money real need to stump up. Does that now make it even more unlikely?

Here's an idea Real, pay us installments but we keep him until fully paid for. Like lay-by, if people know what that is.

Haha, I've said for ages when Bale goes Madrid I'd say he would get bantered about copying Ronaldo but I imagine the team are a bit more poisonous than that and they will bitch about him.

I mean what is Ronaldo going to make of it when he first meets Bale, does he make a joke about it or leave it as the huge elephant in the room the whole time.

I find it all very cringeworthy.

I have one teory on Bale to Real Madrid...

Does anyone else think that our deal with Real might not have fixed fee. Agreement might be something like:
We will sell Bale to you but we want money for him that will allow us to buy striker(Soldado), winger(Lamela) and AM(Willian). Thats around 95-100 mil € . I think this is possible as I don't see Levy paying that much for Soldado because he is 28 with no resale value. It is just too much out of character buy for Levy. This way it may be possible as he wouldn't be spending his money but Real's. We also seem to be finishing our deals in matter of days they aren't dragging so long as they used to. Real might be even pushing us to do deal as soon as possible and have instructed Levy not to mess around for 1-2 mil € and just do deals as soon as possible. Once deals are done Bale will go to Real.

Would be very difficult for RM to agree to that. How would they be sure of raising enough capital to cover OUR spending?

No way buddy.

Di Marzio: Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, the agreement was almost reached. In these hours, the technical director of Tottenham Franco Baldini reached Spain, to close the agreement with the Merengues. In the deal, however, will not be back Fabio Coentrao, the transfer of which may possibly be studied in the future. Tottenham will be 93 million cash, and the ability to invest heavily in the market.Lamela agents are in Madrid to talk to the British. Bale, however, flies to Real.

Right, so Madrid struggled finding the money we wanted for the original deal with Coentrao. Now he's dropped out but they've just found the additional £10/15m needed lying around ? Of course !
