ggspur on COYS:

I have confidence that Bale will not be sold until we have both Willian and Lamela (or similar quality players). If we can't get two top class replacements we won't sell Bale.

Simples
Erm, if we have that much control over keeping Bale and believe he'd pull his weight if we kept him, why don't we just not sell him, sign Lamela and tell Willian to fuck himself?

For me Willian is a better signing than lamela as he is proven in the champions league, so I hope we can complete this deal. Also I get nervous when BBC report things because most of the time they are right unlike our friends at Sky. However I'm not sure on ornstein.

We need to show we can be strong and are not to be dicked about: Barca did not budge on Fabregash, nor United on Rooney.
1) stick to our guns on Bale's price (or not sell)
2) stick to agreed price on Willian
3) be prepared to miss out on one and bench the other if necessary. Bale will come round. Willian is an expensive show pony. I think he'd be great for us but that is only because AVB apparently has a hardon for him -and I trust AVB.

Whatever happens over the next few weeks, this window has been the bollocks. Maybe I have a perverse sense of humour but this Willian\Bale drama is engrossing.

The promises, the euphoria, the gut wrenching disappointment, the wild dreams, the love lost, the politics, the smoke screens, the ins, the outs, the shake it all abouts.

Breathe it all in, we'll never see the like. SC I salute you.

As much as completely agree with the theory and would love it to happen (I would prefer to keep Bale than sign Lamela and Willian). The finances don't add up with this scenario.

Hanjd up anyone who's feeling depressed about all this and wants to take the pills

I've got all sorts of pills...and none of them are working.

Although I have mellowed a bit over the last few years.
I've lived through too many SC transfer windows not to have learned a few things!

Juan Mata, Oscar, Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne. Who makes way for Willian? don't suppose they care though, what in the world happened to Marin!?:ROFLMAO: bought him and chucked him down a deep dark hole

Mata is better than Willian so the selling him to united rumour would be silly on their part

Tell RM to sort out Kia. No Spurs deal = no Bale to Real. Therefore no deals between RM and Kia ever again. Poker time still.

How do you like them apples?

1st time posting on here but I have been reading your posts for a couple yrs now.

What I don't understand is where would Willian play at Chelsea. Mata,Moses, Oscar,Hazard,Schurlle, De Bruyne. That's 2 players for each position behind the striker.

Is this a tactic to get more money but unless I am missing something this does not make any sense.
