1st time posting on here but I have been reading your posts for a couple yrs now.

What I don't understand is where would Willian play at Chelsea. Mata,Moses, Oscar,Hazard,Schurlle, De Bruyne. That's 2 players for each position behind the striker.

Is this a tactic to get more money but unless I am missing something this does not make any sense.

Read that article on that Kia guy...I really want Willian...but it would kind of make me a little happy for DL and crew to tell him to screw off. Then move on to sign Lamela and the next targets. Keep pushing forward.

But

One of my guys did his medical on wed evening.
He was at training ground for meet and greet.
He agreed personal terms.
We agreed fee.
Work permit was applied for 100%.

I find it hard to believe that Chelsea, who have about 7 excellent players in Willian's position, have come in and offered 40m for a player they don't need. Take a step back and think. Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, de Bruyne. Why would they spend 40m on Willian and where would he play?

Willian is coming to WHL.

if willian chooses chelsea over us, he's showing his true colours and i don't want his sort at tottenham if he's just a mercenary. we're looking to build a team here, you either want in to be a part of that. if you want a pay day, head to chelsea.

I've not been sold by Willian even since we were first linked a year or so ago but it is clear AVB wants him and we need another option lined up if this falls through (Ljajic / Eriksen?)

Anyway, this was hard to follow on a phone. Now back on the Pc and basically just calm down folk.

Gimme Lamela + Pjanic/Erikson/Ljajic.

Willian is not the be all and end all of this window. If he goes to Chelski I'd say bullet dodged. Will back him if we get get him because AVB wants him but need convincing he's worth it.

If any of the ITK stuff is correct regarding Joorabchian
I personally would not pay a penny more - move on - Chelsea can have him.

Nothing against Willian I wish the lad all the best - but I would tell AVB the score see what he says and then IF he agrees move.

The way Willain's 'team' do business would make me think very carefully of continueing to deal with his 'team'.

Levy will sort this though. Hope he tells Joorabchian to go swivel.

1st time posting on here after years of just reading.

I don't get why chelsea are in for Willian. They have Mata, Moses, De Bryun, Oscar,Hazard, Shurrle. That's 2 players for each of the 3 positions behind the striker. When will be getting game time.

The other thing is that last season we couldn't keep a clean sheet and we have not strenthen our defence. only have 3 recoignized cb's with 2 of them injury prone'. Its great that we are getting all these attacking players however if you keep clean sheets then you don't lose games. Simples.
