We really need Lamela and Chriches in the bag asap so we can concentrate on an AM and LB if Willian and Coentrao don't come off. Lots of work to be done in a week.

Rome, differentiated by Lamela and Gervinho

Two other clues are not yet a test, but Erik Lamela seems farther and farther away from Rome and closer to the transfer to Tottenham. The Argentine, in the morning, he has not worked in Trigoria with the group, but it is limited to trained separately. Not only in the night, after the tweet yesterday's girlfriend, also arrived that Lamela's brother, Brian, who to a question about the fate of Erik ("It'll be in England?") Replied, "It 's more than certain ", only to delete the tweet as he did yesterday, the girlfriend of 21-year old Argentine. The same Brian Lamela then wrote: "I had to cancel some answers, I can not answer anything about my brother, I do not compromise! Thank you." Tactical and athletic work for the rest of the group: the gym for Right and Maicon out Strootman, while Gervinho has reached Trigoria only in the late morning for bureaucratic reasons and played a custom job. Handing over Lamela, the Ivorian throw open the doors of a place in the team, in a trident completed by Totti and Florenzi.

If I'm not mistaken, Lamela is a CAM but plays out wide because Roma want to fit him into the squad. I'm pretty sure that he can play through the front three.

I read an article the other day, it might of been by Jonathan Wilson, that said he could develop into a number 9 over time.

I've no idea if that's correct or not, I've never seen him play.

I think he is best to continue his development as a inverted winger as that's where his directness really pays dividends

Just done a bit of Twitter whoring.

1) Stobart seems confident on Lamela
2) Di Marzio (the Italian Journo) has said "Ljajic, the day of truth: in the afternoon meeting for the renewal" - where's the Ljajic thread gone btw?
