Still a bloody good window, best I've seen. But a LB away from a great window.
Time for Fryers to step up as backup.
Competing across all four competitions, Rose cannot play every minute of every game.

It was Roses poor positioning for the goal that cost us. He was in no mans land. Such a poor player and he will be starting every game if fit! Great!!!

Give AVB time to work with the team. Rose was a good player in a poor team last year, there must be something there.

Oh, apologies if it wasn't you then, thought I had a conversation with you a bout this already. Soz.

Gutted that we haven't signed anyone.

Really think we'll finish 6th this year.

Missed an opportunity to push on, 3 players short.

Sorry but I've had enough of this shit now, you do realise that we've signed 7 top quality players this window. We've lost Bale but the club have done an incredible job of getting in those players without CL football.

Carroll to QPR very shortly apparently.
So sigs gets the cover spot this season. Furry muff.

Hope the Ade and Andre kiss and make up story is true. We're fucking laughing if it is.

Ffs, Carroll and BAE gone, window shut. One mediocre left back in the squad. Other than that awesome squad, annoying to have a glaring weakness though when everything else is so balanced.

I appreciate what you're saying, we have players that can fill in, so not like we're going to be well and truly shafted. But, moving Jan to LB weakens our CD, moving Naughton there stunts out width and Fryers is another option, but lacks experience. I would just prefer a natural LB, and had just thought following all the sterling work with the other signings making sure we have real quality in depth, LB is the one area we seem to have neglected. If we'd kept BAE it would have not been an issue.
I do wonder of the delay with QPR is down to Spurs getting someone before committing to BAE being allowed to go.

You are talking to someone who doesn't rate BAE here I'm afraid. I rate Rose as a much better LB than BAE, for many reasons, mostly footballing ones.

So, in my opinion we have adequate LB cover in Rose, who will improve over the season, even more.

Yes, weak. None of those players would make it into the Bolton squad.

WE HAVE NOONE OF THE QUALITY OF CARL JENKINSON IN OUR SQUAD. HOW ARE WE MEANT TO COMPETE?

WE HAVE SUPERB QUALITY IN EVERY POSITION. EXCEPT FOR LB. WHERE WE PLAY A MIDGET WINGER INSTEAD.

The £50 million was probably a contingency should the Bale sale have gone tits up.

When BEA goes we will have made a small profit...everything else will go to the stadium.

Sometimes, I think that some of you on here are not genuine Spurs. In the past, many of us (myself included) complained that we always left it too late to do our deals and as a result, we had to do panic buys ala Rasiak. Now, so many fickle so called fans, are still complaining despite the fact that we did what is right and completed our deals early and comfortably.

Some of you are an embarrasement to the faithful and truly Spurs. Get a grip, will you.

Your happy that we got an extra 40 mil in TV dough and didn't spend any? Your happy that we sold our best player? Your happy that we were told bullshit of extra investment?

I wish I was your missus....

I think today is going to be all about outgoing players rather than incoming ones

So who will we sign today? NOBODY

And who might leave? Carroll, Lennon, Benny, Adebayor, any number of younger players.

Todays word of the day is: Cockslap

One day you lot might actually listen. Have a cockslap.

I don't care that we have made a few bob from sales. All I care about is the team on the pitch and to me we look really unbalanced.

We have poor full backs and needed another striking option.

If Lamela is right sided (must admit I though he was left footed) then we are also short in that area

Loads of central midfielders though!

Hope I'm wrong but can see our full backs letting us down like our strikers did last season.

We will see.

Bit gutted to be honest.

He is left footed? That's how we play hence Bale and then Townsend. Left footed right winger

It was purely hypothetical, dear. I think I messed up on the assist stat though, so apologies there.

BTW, your BF would probably trade you for Ryan Gosling as well.

You were way off on the Eriksen statistic, tbf.
He had 14 goals & 24 assists just last year alone (and he is only 21 yrs old & has a tremendous upside).

You really are a whiny git aren't you? :) Bloody glad I don't sit in the same block as you. How many times do you need to just repeat the same stuff?
