I agree with sloth, I want to see our lads turn up and give it their best.

If we lose to the better team on the day so be it - that's sport

Personally I think it's far too close to call today, 0-0, 1-1, 1-0 or 2-1 either way for me

I disagree. We were the better team against Arsenal and it didn't make that loss any easier to take

is it too risky to start lamela in a game like this? he could be our wildcard and feel no pressure?

Cant see why it would be a risk at all.

Top 4 should be (IMO) -

Soldado
Chadli....................... Lamela
Eriksen
With 2 of Sandro, Paulinhio and Dembelle. Don't think Eriksen will be as efficient put out wide, so it is him of Holtby, and to me Eriksen just nods it.

Ahh, can hardly handle my excitement and it's not even 11 yet!!!! I think I am going to try distract myself for the next hour with some good old GTA 5 otherwise I will just sit here watching this thread, waiting for the team sheet... After all this anticipation it's probably going to be a bore draw as well.

Lloris
Walker - Kaboul - Vertonghen - Rose
Sandro
Dembele - Paulinho
Lamela ----------------- Eriksen
Soldado
This is what I'm expecting today. Maybe swap Kaboul for Dawson since he has more match fitness. This is gonna be one of those games where we see AVB lining up more of a defensive lineup than he usually does. We are going to be happy to grab a point from this one and to be fair so am I.

I don't care how we play today, as long as win and destroy these parasites of football.

One of these days justice will win and I hope it all starts today.

I just asked them for you and they said that's fine, they'll kick off at half 2. So you head back to bed until then and you won't miss anything, honest ;)

Such a statement of intent if we beat these. We've got some tough fixtures coming up after an easy-ish October.

He's contributed more in his last two games than Townsend in his last two.

Not hating on Townsend btw. I've been very impressed by a lot of his play, but against a team Chelsea we need to make the most of our possession and can't afford Townsend's 274 shots per game.

COYS!!

But if we play Siggy and Lamela then play is going to be too congested in the middle of the park - we need Townsend if nothing else but to try and pin Cole back and to create a wide outlet that can be direct and stretch the Chelsea defence to create space.
