The unhappy tears of all the AVB haters in this thread will provide a good level of sustenance for a few days for me.

I love you Tottenham.

Some of you should feel ashamed. He business embarrassing to read when there's still half hour left. And I'm not talking about the comments on the style of football, I'm talking about 'I hope Fulham score', 'Holtby's shit' etc. How long does it take people to realise when you spout shit during a game, it can always come back and make you look like a complete ****.

Thank fuck someone said this.

To the people who wanted us to lose...call yourself spurs fans? Pfffffffffffffffffffft

I've said this before but I think there should be a SC league system, that when idiot fans make real dumb comments they get relegated to the league of scum and have to post there for a month.

This victory is hollow and papered over the cracks.
There was no bite no penetration, all foreplay and no sex with no money shot in sight, and most of the time seems as if Spurs were going to be the ones on the receiving end.
Shit SHIT going forward. AVB is lucky Spurs managed a freak goal from distance and another good goal from distance - both individual efforts.
This Fulham team is not half as good as they made themselves look today and any potential EPL winner would put them to the sword easily, but we struggled, laboured and looked poor.

And when is Dawson going to be dropped? He's shit, the amount of mistakes that lanky fool makes is getting worse by the game, I used to like him but now he is a liability.

This could prove to be a real turning point in our season. Not the result in itself but the fact that we've come from behind and turned it around late on. This could really lift the confidence in the team now. We steadied the ship against Utd and today we showed great character to beat a Fulham team that were lifted by a new man in charge.

I still believe in this team!

Hope so!!!!

Good win, my nerves are shot. Tottenham always make life difficult for themselves but still managed to win thoough. Verts injury doesn't look good. Who to play at left back now ? probably Townsend. Thought Lamela on the left looked a lot better, with Lennon on the right we were quite effective on the break.

That win is worth a hell of a lot more than the easy 4-0 we might have had if Jol was still in charge.

1. Massive for morale
2. Holtby finally earns his Spurs (pun intended)
3. Vlad- great for a new guy to have a moment like that
4. Lloris. saved the day.

Squad goes home with belief, we can come back, we don't need Bale to come back (!), we have the ability.

Credit to Fulham, they set up well & played efficiently & looked a half decent side. I doubt they'll get rolled over like they have been many more times.

Does that mean we've gelled?

Er no. I'm not even convinced we train together. I thnk they just turn up on the day.

So how does everybody know Vertonghen has a major injury?

He might, but how the fuck will anybody on here know?

Wow that was fun...

anyone else shit themselves at the thought of a 2 man CM of Holtby and Paulinho... Still 2 great strikes saved our bacon.

The result was vital but the performance was a drag again. Dropping Soldado and playing two holding midfielders is questionable against one of the poorest sides in the league. Those who are calling this a turning point are really invested in the caricature of AVB as the ace tactician, because this performance did not look like any sort of turning point. And the largely toothless performance is a pattern that is set by the tactics and formation. We were slow, ponderous and clueless for a lot of that game. And that was against an abject Fulham side.

But at least we turned it around. Had we lost, I think we'd have drifted towards a largely pointless league campaign, which hasn't happened since Ramos' 2 points in 8 games season that Harry rescued. We needed the win, but we look far from convincing, unlike other top 6 sides who have the beating of others in style.

Didn't like the way we played, love the result.

We should have started with the same team as manure with just capoue coming for 'bele.

Too many changes all the time. Gotta get stability and then do the odd change.

Everyone smiling and the fans happy though, so that's good to see.

Haven't seen AVB that happy for a while; they all looked loved up.

Let's start that winning habit we need from here.
I thought Lamela played very well.
