It makes me laugh when certain posters complain about how negative we are as a team, yet they in turn are just as negative with their comments. The game is not over until it's over and today we proved that. Sure it wasn't the perfect performance but it doesn't need to be when the team is low on confidence. It just takes matches like this one to turn the team around. Just look at the lift we got after the Holtby goal went in. Today was a big momentum shift.

I've said this before but I think there should be a SC league system, that when idiot fans make real dumb comments they get relegated to the league of scum and have to post there for a month.

Sorry to quote my own post but could you imagine the type of people that would be in there. I wonder what would happen. It would be a good social experiment. Would a bunch of mentalists get on?

And to think in the summer people were saying they would hand in their season tickets if we signed Suarez lol tremendous player.

For those slating dawson (again), since rose was played against lowly opposition in the el we've lost jan as a centre half so there isn't much choice but to play dawson at the moment. Kaboul showed at man city that he is still way off the pace unfortunately.

Walker again was very good I thought.

Big 3 points, absolutely massive for avb, he needed that. Could you imagine the pressure if that had stayed at 1-0. Hopefully coming from behind like that will be a huge lift for the team.

This victory is hollow and papered over the cracks.
There was no bite no penetration, all foreplay and no sex with no money shot in sight, and most of the time seems as if Spurs were going to be the ones on the receiving end.
Shit SHIT going forward. AVB is lucky Spurs managed a freak goal from distance and another good goal from distance - both individual efforts.
This Fulham team is not half as good as they made themselves look today and any potential EPL winner would put them to the sword easily, but we struggled, laboured and looked poor.

And when is Dawson going to be dropped? He's shit, the amount of mistakes that lanky fool makes is getting worse by the game, I used to like him but now he is a liability.

No penetration??!?!?!?!?

You weren't watching when Paulinho was 6 yards from goal and skied over?

You weren't watching when Lamela side footed it round the post when it was easier to hit the target?

You weren't watching when Defoe back heeled it, ricocheted to Sandro where a deflection stopped it going in?

You weren't watching when Defoe was 1 on 1 and put the ball over?

The ONLY thing I agree with you on, is Dawson needs to be dropped. But that's not going to happen til we have someone fit enough to step into CB.

Yes it is. I was referring to the AVB haters. Are you one or do you want to distance yourself from that?

I don't hate him, but right now it is hard to rate him.

Last year Bale was immense, and we didn't play great football-sometimes struggling to beat teams without his input.

This year, we have been relying on wonder goals, and pens.

It is really hard to judge. I just feel that if AVB doesn't show us more, we will lose our great players, that we were lucky to get.

I know I would rather lose AVB now than our great players in the future.

Well that was embarrassing. And depressing. Daylight robbery against the mighty Fulham.

Having been probably the only team this season to make West Ham seem like a good side, we have just made a complete shambles of a Fulham team look like Spain. If it wasn't for two individual moments we would have received a deserved beating. As it was, our first should have been ruled offside because Defoe - who else - was offside.

Speaking of Defoe, he was - as usual - completely fucking useless. The disappointing thing is that he probably wasn't our worst player. Lamela and Paulinho can probably compete for that accolade. Once again AVB's substitutions left me scratching my head. I can probably understand Holtby for Capoue and bringing on Townsend, but replacing Sandro with The Invisible Man? He's got me on that one.

I used to be confident that we could win any game that we played. Now not only have I lost that confidence, but I don't even think that we're going to score. God help us at Sunderland if we play like that.

It's a good job there aren't any razor blades handy.

Agreed - Fulham weren't the pushovers like we were led to believe. I believe they'd have taken out United with the attacking play they kept firing at us! I think we did well to contain them and switch the tactics up to overcome them. Remember, there's nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal and in football - Fulham were just that!

Looks like the players dont even care. works when they have the ball. I rather loose with 0-3 than play like this for the rest of the season. we will lose all players anyway if we keep this style going. FUQ AVB, THE GAME IS ABOUT GLORY !!

This is why we need a vast expansion of our education system.

lol @ this clown on BBC London radio. avb is 50% redknapp and 50% juande Ramos. got a point about his lack of adaptability though.

Don't worry.

Soldado will start the next game.

Nothing like continuity when you're trying to put a run together.

AVB is on thin fucking ice with me. Holtby came on as he was shit scared of loosing Capoue to a red.

Had no idea why Chadli was introduced.

His selections and subs drive me fucking insane.

I lost it after he picked Dawson yet again after he was ripped apart by Remy. 2 players I never want to see again are Dawson and Defoe, both top blokes but utterly limited players.

You're fortunate. You wouldn't get relegated to my proposed make-believe league system.

Tottenham match-winner Lewis Holtby: "All week I said I have to shoot more and I did into the top corner. You can't imagine how happy I am. It is a dream come true.

"We had so much bad things going on, so much negativity into the team. It was a great response from the team to come back. That is what the team needed.

"I hope we are back on track and get back to a winning streak."

A win is great, but I'm still not feeling good about our teams setup and play. I feel this win masks the same issues we have week in week out...

Hopefully morale will lift and we start seeing a more fluid Tottenham in the weeks ahead.
