If we go 4231, Bentaleb and Dembele will be DMs with Eriksen at the 10 and Townsend on the left.

If we go 442, it'll be same exact lineup except for Naughton and Defoe in for Walker and Soldado if they arent fit.

The lineups havent been this predictable in a while! Thank you, Tim!

With Liverpool dropping points this is a massive opportunity for us to try to achieve a Champions League place, which makes me worried that we'll do a "Spurs" and not capitalise and take all three points. Could this game be the defining game of our season? If we win we not only put pressure on the bin dippers next game but also on Everton's game on Monday against West Brom. Is anyone else worried?

Give over.

I think TS will keep the same team that started against CP but will have further option on the bench with Townsend...

Lets go boys! 25-0! Do this Tim!

If our GD is 26 by the end of the year, Tim deserves a medal.

I hope Lamela will start if soldado isn't fit. Defoe can come on as a sub.

Just a few questions please:
Is Defoe back from Toronto?
Any news on Walker's and Soldado's (minor) injury?
Any news on Lamela?

Thanks

Not a game for two forwards, need to dominate midfield and break up the passing, going to be a tough one today. Hope Tim has learnt his lesson from the Arsenal game.

There was no mention of Walker being injured for this one so I assume he's fit. The question is whether TS goes for more midfielders after what happened in the Arsenal game. Personally, I think 5 in midfield has served us well away from home and against a Swansea team that likes possession it might be a good idea:

Lloris

Walker Dawson Chiriches Rose

Sandro Dembele

Lennon Eriksen Townsend

Adebayor

Bench: Friedel, Naughton, Fryers, Bentaleb, Lamela, Soldado, Defoe

Of course, I don't know how fit Townsend and Sandro are and whether they are better off being given cameos for this one. If so then Bentaleb for Sandro. And Eriksen moves to the left in place of Townsend and one of Chadli or Lamela gets a go behind Adebayor.

Although if Townsend can't start the case for 4-4-2 is stronger in my opinion.

Is Lamela still injured? I think he could do well in a game like this as Swansea are in a relegation fight. They need to come at us so there could be lots of space for him.

So we haven't lost to Swansea since their return to the PL and there current form (Last 6 games) has them in 19th in the form table with 0W 4L 2D.

Got a Swansea win all over it. ;)

Swansea have won just two home games all season and you're comparing them to Arsenal?

Coys. Big opportunity today, lets hope we're up for it cos they sure will be. Too much to ask for an early goal for us?
