Our players rely on through balls to be more effective and someone to release them before the opposition set. Without it, our players won't take them on or bully their way through. We need a passer because of the style of our team - it's disjointed.

We don't make any effective movement off the ball currently anyway, so any passer would be wasted.

Set pieces have been woeful for ages now, no-one beats a man, we can't press or control possession, we pass too slowly and are generally clueless in the final third. Football is a simple game but we seem to be too dumb to understand it.

Glenn Hoddle is that man and Levy needs to swallow his pride as I would bet that most true supporters would give him a chance.

Yeah the same board who hired these managers...the buck stops with them I'm afraid.

And we didn't magic £100m out of thin air, if you recall we sold players last summer, one for a world record fee.

Walker is such a poor player and his decision making is terrible, its almost criminal how he's gone backwards after 'that one year'. Rose is the same although he does get to the byline and gets a cross in now and again. Kaboul is a better option alongside Verts but i dont trust that he will be able to give us a season without long injuries and I think Verts just dispares at Dawson sometimes.

I think the Bale money could have been spent so much wiser.

Does anyone know if we have a recall option on Ekotto? if so why have we not?

They didn't spend 100m of their own money. They reinvested player sales. And after a few years of making more money on sales than they spent.

Luckily the £100 I bet on benfica softened the blow. We're actually awful. The team is mentally gone and Timmy Mallet belongs in the ryman league.

Lose to arsenal, knocked out of Europa league next week, lose to Southampton, then smashed by Liverpool.

On a positive note. Kane is the new Rooney. God help us!

Say what we want about the "wasted" money, but we spent what we made and we'll end up roughly the same, as you'd expect
