To be honest,I knew that Liverpool would beat us...they are a far better team than us but that was just woeful from us today.

It actually looked like a few of ours had bet a couple of quid on Liverpool to win the game.

Let's hope Gullit was right and LVG has already signed. If he hasn't and saw that today we could be stepping out with Ian Holloway in charge next season.

Absolutely pathetic.

Pathetic management.

Pathetic players.

Pathetic that our chairman and director of football have lead us here.

If Dim is as honest and salt o' the earth as he portrays, he does need to do a Keegan as someone mentioned earlier, and come out and say I can't do this job I fundamentally don't have the skills to do this job - and my lack of any coaching badges only underlines this.

Assuming van gaal is to become our new manager in august ,if hes involved with Holland till middle of july how much homework is he doing at the moment , by then how much of his staff will he be up on , who to keep who to shift out and importantly who can he buy and improve the team . Also the current players do they know if hes coming after the WC will that be a motivation for the likes of llores and vertonghen to stay .

But at least its that bit less likely we will have either Sherwood or Europa League next season. If Arsenal have to do the Europa next season that would also please me very much.

The whole club has just given up on the season. What happens if we don't fulfil our fixtures? Probably the best option now!

What a fucking disgrace. This is a team that deserves, and has just about earnt, mid-table mediocrity. We're higher in the table than we should be.

I shall henceforth be supporting Brisbane Roar.

Oh, and check out Saurez' ears. They're really weird.

Am I right in thinking we didn't have an effort on target until the last minute? Pathetic.

However bad we are, there's no point getting rid of Sherwood now. Season is basically over anyway.

Next season please! Hoped we could produce something worthy of a visit. Probably already knew we would lose, just hoped it werent to such an extend. However that Liverpool team is beast, but still just wished for a better attitude from all of the lads today.

This sitting in the stands business is a disgrace and needs to stop immediately.

A manager is part of the team and has to take the stick along with the players. It's a way of accepting joint responsibility. It's a cowardly thing to do to sit up there and avoid it all.
