So even today, you ARE happy that AVB was fired and Sherwood was hired. Even after all that's transpired...Wow I just simply find that fascinating.

I find it fascinating that there is someone who doesn't see it that way. We are far from good, Sherwood is far from good. But we've climbed up the table, we have better points per game average, we're scoring actually goals and some youth have gotten their chances. Anyone who wants to back to AVB days ought to be forced to watch our autumn PL games again - if that wasn't seemed as form of torture. Actually you've delighted my sunday, despite all that has been going on lately I'm just delighted to be rid of AVB for good.

That isn't a relevant point when assessing Sherwoods tenure as Tottenham manager. It means nothing.

Well, since the initial point was that our defence has taken drastic turn to worse since switch, it has something to do with discussion. We are leaking bit more on PL, scoring vastly more.

Cue to my post about watching our games at autumn being form of torture.

Bedding in new players at the expense of trying to be Brazil (which is near impossible with a brand new squad of EPL newcomers by the way) while getting results was a small price to pay for long term success. Our play under Sherwood is the real torture - Sweating every long minute the other side could capitalise on the disorganised mess we've become.

Just because someone criticises AVB and states that they believe Sherwood is an upgrade, that does not mean they want Sherwood as our permanent manager. Why does everything have to be so black and white on here?

With no sign of better to come by december, more like turning to worse.

Difference being that we might also score a goal, perhaps two and bounce back. Under AVB we needed a miracle or lucky penalty to even look like scoring.

Besides we didn't have clean sheet on last 6 PL games under AVB and conceded 16 on those.

It's impossible to tell who is the best manager out of AVB and Tim, because only one of them is an actual manager...

Yep, AVB is a Messiah - it takes one to have Chelsea perform worse than we are performing now under Sherwood.
