With the exception of Lloris there isn't a truly world class player in that French team and they were really unimpressive during qualifying, looking very disjointed and in-cohesive, but all of a sudden through circumstances ( injuries/omissions etc) they are starting to look like a team. They have a really good balance and team ethic. They have no superstars but are playing some very cohesive and bright football at times. They have a great group and a superb draw until the quarters/semis where they would almost certainly meet Germany/Brazil respectively I think.
Could easily add these to the dark horse list IMO.
