I think a player like that is the difference between Spurs & Liverpool also. Suarez only missed 5 games (the first 5 of the season) and Liverpool scraped 3 x 1-0 wins (Stoke, Villa & a shit Man Utd) had a draw with Swansea and lost to Southampton. Take Suarez out (and I don't think he will leave unfortunately) and Rodgers won't look such a genius.

Here's the thing though, the PL is also at its strongest right now. So thats not the problem. The issue starts at the youth levels. But the amount of foreign players in the PL will continue to increase when clubs know they can sign foreign players of similar quality at cheaper fees than english players at bloated fees.
