First reason i've had to not bother staying up late. Really can't sit through another Greek game. The other two games could really be something though considering how great this WC has been so far.

I like watching Japan, but yeah, Greece just doesn't sound appealing at all. Colombia and Ivory Coast should be a good one.

England never get the result they need when ITV shows the game.

I'm worried.

Hart

Johnson Cahill Jones Shaw

henderson Gerrard Wilshere

Sterling Sturridge Lallana

But...but...but you can't drop Rooney?!

I've been thinking for ages that England are more suited to playing a 4-3-3 with the midfielders they've got and the goal/assist threat that Sterling and Lallana provide. I'm sure the 4-2-3-1 Woy is playing is just to accomodate Rooney. If anyone deserves to play in the number 10 role, based on form, then it's Barkley anyway.

I'd go with:

Hart
Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines
Henderson, Gerrard
Sterling, Rooney, Lallana
Sturridge

Let Sterling run at the defenders on the right flank, but with ability to come inside.
Have Lallana whipping ball in from left and then Rooney able to float around in the hole behind Sturridge.

Mind you, from the physical aspect, I'd be tempted to still Lambert up top!

That's the team I would pick all day long.

Gerrard needs the energy of Henderson beside him. Wilshere doesn't look fit either. Lallana offers more cuteness and guile than Welbeck and we really need to go for the win but that side offers a good balance.

I have to say, I am actually quite looking forward to the England game tonight, whatever the result.

I just want to see some goddamn passion, like the Aussies and Chile yesterday.

Is that too much to ask for ... ?

Yep, all the players now know the lyrics of the National Anthem. You can see them saying it:

Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum
Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum
Hum Hum Hum Hum

etc.
