Tevez? 30yrs old, £150k a week, and we already have a oldish player on that who we would probably like to get rid of??? doesnt make sense. Would be better going for someone like volland even if he cost a fortune.

Hmmm we knew we'd be linked to every argentine player going so not too suprised by the link.

I would be VERY suprised if it actually happened as we won't pay the wages he'd be on after being at Utd then City then Juve and from the stink he always kicked up trying to manufacture moves he is all about the money...

Tevez would be amazing but I'm sure JJ will drop in later to piss all over it!

wouldn't rule out him squatting and dumping all over this :poop:

but now ive said that he will appear and tease us, like Jessica Alba slowly popping a banana in her mouth :wtf:

Perhaps the Tevez link has come from the Paulinho to Juve speculation...in terms of what players we'd like from them?!

Tevez is like having suarez without the biting - less goals and assists, granted - he's a dogged, demented nutter who gives everything every game and is exactly the kind of unrelenting force Poch would love and would be a driving force on the field for the rest of the team

His kind of energy and commitment is infectious and carries great value in itself.

Yes, he was on 150k with ManC. However, I believe I heard something about him taking a massive pay-cut to join Juventus, maybe in exchange for a settlement from ManC, I'm not sure. Really think his base salary at Juventus is lower, could even be close-ish to half.

Totally agree.

Like others are saying though, wages could be a bit of a problem!

I don't think Tevez would want to come back to England. He doesn't like life over here and hates the language. He's really settled in Italy, enjoys it over there and has had a great season with Juve. He's really picked up his career and deserved to be in that WC squad, although wasn't going to get in as he and Sabella don't see eye to eye.

He's certainly still got it, albeit lost a bit of pace, but still is a tireless worker with a touch of class. Can't see this being any more than a rumour born from the Paulinho one.

We wouldn't though. Signing a genuinely world class striker who'd improve the team tenfold, or signing a virtual unknown?

It's not our money, so why do we worry too much? Especially when it'd be easily worth it.
