I actually think Hull are going to consolidate their Prem status for years to come. Bruce building a pretty good side up there, surprised Dawson wouldn't view that as a decent move - unless he doesn't want to move up north. Would know Hudd and Livermore well and his brother use to play there as well didn't he?

Tevez would obviously be a huge coup for the club no doubt about it but why in Earth would Tevez want to come back to England?!

Absolutely nothing to prove, and as @Syn_13 says, he's enjoying his time in Turin and earning handsomely out of it - besides, he was often cited as not enjoying the English lifestyle, weather, you name it!

Let it go guys, this one just won't get off the ground even if we want it to.

Wouldn't matter if they propelled us to a position where we'd be attractive to younger strikers...

Ftr, Tevez on 150k or so isn't a million miles away from the reported 100/120k we gave Bale in his last year. It was something along those lines.

Our future's in good hands, that will come.

Look at how manure, scum, chelsea, city, pool are strengthening. A player like Tevez would be huge for us with the mentality he has, 30 or no. I don't think we'll get 4th (due to the above strengthening so much) but we must be contenders this season to give us the momentum to move into the following season with full confidence/belief.

I'm guessing the Tevez link has maybe become a possibility with Argentine as manager.

Personally I would rather stick with the mix of strikers we already have. That's mainly because there are question marks over Tevezs character. There is no doubting his ability though.
