some guy called endee33 on coys, 9000 posts, i dont know the guy but ppl on coys seem to take it seriously:
Just had a text from a colleague who is good friends with Gary Monk and Leon Britton, "Ben is with Spurs! Inside info. He's with them in Seattle now."

Cool! Swansea has a friendly today so if Davies is missing from their squad we know why, or at least can hope to know why.

EDIT: I edited my post to hide my shame.

To be fair Benteke, Lukaku and Bony in terms of goals all did pretty well against those same tight defences we faced last season. Personally I'd love a consistent Adebayor next to Bobby, I could see that working.... 100% we need more creative players behind though.

Well I think a lot of teams tend to change their game against top five clubs and play a tighter defensive game, pull players behind the ball, defend deep and hit on the counter. I don't think they consider the likes of Villa, Swansea or even Everton ( who have hardly had a striker in recent years, till last season) as big threats and tend to play a far more open game

Those players did well for their teams but imo for the most part got more time and space, for the most part I think the top teams rely on their skilful players to be the main goalscorers, Suarez, Van Persie, Aguero, Rooney and with skilful players like Silva, Cazorla, Hazard etc., to carve the chances.

I think the powerful players can be effective at corners and free kicks and against certain teams but as first choice strikers for teams with serious CL and title ambitions I think that first choice should always be players with better touch, more intelligence in making runs and finding space, sharpness when the ball comes to them and great first touch
