anyway, back to the itk. if rose doesn't want to stay and fight and develop he can get fisted too. if I was in rose's position i'd be welcoming the chance to develop under a proper coach, not just sulk about the fact someone clearly better has come in.

If our only business this window was Davies, Morgan S and a Centre Back, with Dawson and another CM on their way out (along with Siggy and Livermore already done), I'd be more than happy with that. Addresses a number of weak positions whilst not expanding the squad and probably leaves us about financially even which DL will love.

If we then subsequently shift some more fringe players and we want to spunk that cash on a LW/LF a la Griezmann, then happy days. If it doesn't happen then i won't be crying in my beer and will still be optimistic going into the season.

This is a common misconception. A dwarf's bumhole is actually as slack as a racehorses chuff just after it's given birth. At least it is after they've drunk what it is we serve up at the mods friday night fuckfest.

Nah. He's still living off "that" arsenal goal. He's dined out on that & been given God knows how much grace on the back of it

Another tactic may be to say "20,000 people are saying i don't do 'X' correctly. Maybe i should work on that."

Completely agreed. I've heard he makes some rather shocking lapses, but I see that and think reduced price and something Poch could work on. Stunning athlete, and his versatility makes him a great option.

But surely he is blabbing and whining for it to be picked up on by someone who's ITK, and likely to be picked up by the media.

I haven't an issue with him going, people who want an easy life and not want to fight for what they want, doesn't sit well with me. Unfortunately it's the modern society we live in where people just want jobs handed to them on a plate.

Davies hasn't come into to replace him, Pochettino has even said this. Davies has been bought because we lack depth in that area, If he can't see that and is not willing to fight for his place, then bye. We need fighters in this team to want to win and succeed and don't need players who want out at the first sight of trouble and having to work hard.

And so, having put in solid effort, and being a decent but not world-class player, he has never been treated other than as a skin tag that we need rid of by supporters and to some extent management. Why should he be Mr. Loyalty?

If he wants to go to Sunderland, then he should. Maybe they won't treat him as poorly as we have. And him wanting to go is only allowing people who need to abuse our players, for some odd reason, a bit of extra fodder before he departs.

The above is how I would explain something to one of our players. Sometimes getting rid is a challenge but people get it eventually. Think he's persuaded now..
