Can someone post the JJ twitter conversation he seems to have had in here please?

The one in relation to it being a bigger price. Seems to be the potential that he could have been answering different things to what the first person thought
  1. Spurs. ‏@SuperSpurs1882 2h
I'm assuming after his tweet last night, Schneiderlin has handed in a request. Chairman now 'looks' like he has no option but to sell... #PR

So we got MS and his agent all worked up regarding a deal and we went in with a perceived low ball offer to SH which pissed them off. Now both sides posturing to get upper hand in negotiations.

Saints may have been selling, but this wasn't clearance rack pricing, they were getting great value on sales due to Liverpool and United overpaying. Now they want that value on all sales and Levy won't overpay.

Spent a while whoring for info. Looking at Saints web and other sites. Got nothing, just impatient! No idea how @dovahkiin does it. Deserves to be knighted!

Where is this belief that we don't have money to spend this year coming from?

Has there been some ITK or news story to suggest this that I've missed, or is it some Spurs fans being overly pessimistic again.
Have you not read the Sun?

We've got a £500trillion warchest still to use, although the Metro and the Daily Star believe the figure is nearer £289trillion.

Sky Sports are yet to report the story because they have to make sure that they are accurate and perfect like they always are...

This is exactly what Sandro did when he used Twitter to take a dig at Sherwood and ultimately one of the reasons why we might be happy to let him go.

No matter what one thinks of Sherwood there is no smoke without fire and Sherwood was probably right. Sandro was too comfortable knowing he was a fans favourite and Sherwood wanted him to work harder to justify his place rather than playing the guitar and posting Vine videos.

Instead of taking it on the chin and do as he was told he comes crying to Twitter to stir shit when it was unnecessary.

Look at the difference at United where Van Gaal tells Luke Shaw he is not fit enough. Shaw goes to Twitter and agrees with his manager. That is the attitude we needed from Sandro.

As for Schneiderlin it's clearly a different situation for him as opposed to Sandro as he is now being told he has to say when it looks like they were talking about selling him. He looks around at the squad and sees it has been decimated and yet he has to stay.

Either way I agree with you that these players, no matter what, should not be using Twitter in a negative way against their club.

I hate this phrase, it's just plain wrong, both literally and also figuratively. Basically there's often smoke without fire, and people use the saying usually to justify conclusions based on non-conclusive evidence.

Smoke machines, for example.

Im told the request went in, but his agent told him to train this morning.

Hopefully the agent has told him to keep training all through the saga, as if he comes to us, whenever that is, we'll want him to have benefited from a pre-season.

Does anyone else get the impression that we're going to have a really busy deadline day this summer like in 2012?

No point getting worked up over any fees printed in the papers and blaming Levy just yet, when do they ever get it right this early in a deal?

To be honest I can't say I'm too disappointed about potentially missing out on Schnederlin. I think in Capoue and Bentaleb we have two players who have similar skill sets and can hopefully be coached to play the same role.

I think a big part of Poch wanting Schneiderlin and Rodriguez is just having the reassurance that he has players he can trust 100% to do the job for him.

I rate Schneidlerin highly and think he's better than what we currently have, but agree with you RE coaching Capoue & Bentaleb.

Wouldn't be too disappointed with missing out on Rodriguez, i think Harry Kane is a better player, and could easily play the LW role that Poch wants

Kane better than Rodriguez??? No where near for me yet. However in 4 years time when Kane is 25, he could well be better than Rodriguez is now...
