In all honesty i am glad with Rose deal and i am also glad with the itk regarding MS however not the ITK on the player making way for him. I want THE BEAST to stay with MS and form a good relationship with EC fighting for a place also!

Depends on what you are looking for. As a DM, when fit, Sandro is as good as any around. His work rate is great, he is a good tackler and reads the games well. Also as a personality he is clearly great for the squad and is loved by the fans.

Schneiderlin on the other hand is a very good passer, can keep the game ticking and is ideally suited to a deep lying play maker role.

Agreed, but the fact that Schneiderlin also has a great work rate, is also a great tackler (and doesn't have to go to ground, so a good asset to have) and again reads the game well, maybe not quite as good as Sandro in terms of interceptions, but again Poch's teams read the game and press as a team, whereas we used to just have Sandro running around breaking up attacks solo.

Since when do you get shitty ratings for asking a question?[/
You do realise that's just league appearances right?

At his fittest Sandro is a better player than Schneiderlin.
I don't know if it was just me but after Tim finally started giving Sandro a few games at the end of the season I thought he was actually knocking it about far better than I have ever seen from him. Short passes, switching play etc.

edit: I keep saying it but who remembers Everton away last season. Sandro fucking bossed Lukaku. No one else can do that. Sandro goes off and our game went to shit. It's not a coincidence. Newcastle home. We're wank. Sandro comes on and we dominate. Not a coincidence

The problem is that Poch won't have seen those things, so won't know. Furthermore, if we are being honest, most of us won't have seen a lot of Schneiderlin (really, how many Spurs supporters watch loads of Soton games?).
So the dilemma is that we know Sandro, and Poch knows Schneiderlin. He is the manager, so we need to give him the benefit of the doubt.
This time next year, we may have a better idea (I know, I know ......bit late then, etc.).

If Sandro wasn't a fan favourite & was merely an injury prone central midfielder with a name like Danny Nose or something , I suspect his sale would be generally accepted. ;)

Well damn! Nowt quite out of nowhere and all hail the Goat on Dier, but done, entirely? Very quiet again from the ITK crew.

Good stuff though. More defenders = I like.

Could realistically be our "John Stones" signing. In a year (maybe sooner if all goes great) or so it could look like a real steal.
