could you imagine going through the busier part of the year with just Harry Kane up frontDo you mean it would make no sense given that they're both African?

He was indeed, but I don't think he's good enough to be counted on over a longer period of time. Yet, that is.He was impressive yesterday.

Really does depend a lot on who we get in, but we are overloaded in midfield and if we pay a big fee for Schneiderlin chances are Levy will want to cover that so fee wise Dembele, Paulinho and Sandro all should likely get fees in the £12/£16 mill range
At CB if we get Musacchio we'd have Daws, Verts, Vlad, Eunice, Deir, Musacchio and ignoring rumours of Lascelles. Something's got to give and Vald may get the biggest fee, Eunice the next if he can pass a medical
Chadli's a curious one, not really sharp enough for the PL imo, supposedly versatile but not good as a winger or in a 2nd striker capacity. He might get a stay of execution but I can see Poch prefering the pace of Andros and Azza and Chadli may also get a decent price. But if we don't get Rodriguez now he may hold off selling unless we add another striker.
I think Soldado is still here.could you imagine going through the busier part of the year with just Harry Kane up front
Add Schneiderlin and I agreeI'm not sure how we could have asked for a better window if Vertonghen agrees to a new deal and we bring in a CB like Musacchio. Lloris extends his contract, we sign a LB, brought in a reliable backup in Vorm, add a promising young CB in Dier, Vertonghen extends his contract and we give him a partner that he truly needed. I'd be ecstatic if it all turned out that way.

Disagree about Chadli completely. He has pace, is good in the air and strong on the ball and will score goals in a Poch system. As for Lennon and Townsend, what do they offer aside from pace?, i mean neither are prolific scorers (and never have been) and their crossing woeful.
In the three friendlies that i have seen so far (and i was in Seattle) traditional wing play was totally absent with a handful of byline crosses being delivered and those mainly from Davies. The absolute necessity to have either of the former mentioned players ever present next season would be a big disappointment as far as i am concerned. They have flattered to deceive under AVB, and Sherwood and i just cannot see either flourishing in a Poch system.
The signings so far are what was needed and with one or two heading our way (according to some excellent ITK) make for an improved side way beyond the talents of Townsend and Lennon.
