*thanks for correction

Whoever it was asked "does poch hate vlad" has to be dumber than the greenest lung oyster i've ever flobbed out of my nose. What sort of fucking question is that? Seriously? It's based on nothing. Fuck all. Zilch. Nada. Nixes. Nowt. And the contents of Bill Oddies codpiece. Ladies and gentlemen, plankton seems to be evolving at an alarming rate. It is now capable of surfing the web, although I can't say it surprises me that its first port of call is Twitter.

Astonishing.

This is going to sound ridiculous but we signed an Argentinian manager, and we're about to sign an Argentinian CB. Is it me or does it seem like everything is being done to make Lamela flourish?

I kind of feel like Soldado was assigned as his big brother/watcher - given all the social media photos with the two of them.

Whatever works - he looks happy and motivated.

It's worse than that though. This astute tweep, with his single-celled brain, already knows that poch hates him. He was simply asking why poch hates him, since it is all too well known that poch does.

I think it's just coincidental mate. Lamela is a huge prospect for us, sure, and we're going to do our best to keep him happy, but Poch was a smart choice at the time. PL experience, a good track record with youth and not demanding enough to require massive unobtainable names. Being Argie just happens to help. His style of play, ability of working with young'uns and nationality will help Lamela and he'll be looking to Argentinian/Spanish speaking players that he can help settle at our club. He's got a good knowledge of La Liga too, so will look there for players as well, hence the Musacchio link.

It's just you mate ;)
I'm quite confused about the flurry of disagrees to be honest. I was merely suggesting that we are trying to provide a good environment for Lamela.

I think people thought I was saying that Poch was and Musacchio is (potentially) being brought in solely for Lamela, which is obviously untrue as they are both excellent in their respective posts :D

Get vlad out on loan to a prem club for a season, another year under his belt in the toughest league in the world and he comes back a better player and ready to compete for a first team place

I don't think it has any significant connection whatsoever...but its a nice bonus that we're adding another Argentinian. Someone integral to our back line which will be very easy for Pochettino to convey things to...another countryman for Lamela as well.

I got what you were saying, but I think nationality, and language, were just a coincidence. By all accounts, it looks like we have let the committee work together, and based on the earlier ITK, they seem to all be on the same page with bringing in players to make the squad better, and deeper.

Does it matter? If it helps Lamela (and Soldado) then all the better. Argentines are known for defending well, so nothing to complain about here.

Trix's mate is Lovren's agent
No it isn't. I have explained this a few times now, and this will hopefullyfingers crossed I won't need to again.

My source is an ex financial director of another PL club who now works with various prominent football based charrities. He is in regular contact with various agents(mostly), players and managers because of his role as a consultant/fixer. All the Saints stuff was coming via someone at Lovrens agency(which is why it's now dried up). The stuff I posted about Hugo a few weeks back came direct from his agent to myself, and this bit about Jan is via someone completely different but a lot closer to home though.

It is very much a case that nearly all I hear will have come via agents etc though(Unless Villa related), and as such there are far better placed people out there(Spurs wise) that pass on stuff regularly than me. I know that sometimes what I hear will be of mixed quality, but I always post how good I believe the info to be.

Ali Z on COYS:
Can spend between £15m - 20 m this summer, there will still be plenty more outgoings at least 3 first team players and 3/4 fringe younger players. Finances are not the issue, wages, squad size and balance are.

Still looking to bring in 3 more for first team and maybe a few younger ones.

He then clarified that Musacchio is included in the 3 new.
