I'm sure there are many, many things going on in the background that we have absolutely no knowledge of. Old Huw might well be trying it on, but who knows we may well have done the same to them over Bony, or at least 'casually enquired'. The Soldado thing might not yet be resolved, so Bony, Naughton and any other possible players mentioned could all be up in the air.

Levy and Jenkins (Swans chairman) are two peas in a pod. They probably loved screwing Utrecht out of the 30% they were owed for Vorm by weighting the Davies valuation more in that double deal.
Wouldn't surprise me if they attempted more deals together just simply to see if one can outdo the other.

Well it's not a bad price especially as rumours are that Richards would cost £5 mill. If so I'd happily sell Naughton and cough up the extra couple of mill to get Richards
Trouble is right now with Walker injured we have to have a replacement ready if we sell Naughton

A few more words - Seattle unlikely to let the deal happen without guarantee of having him for rest of season.
EDIT: I was going to say MLS, but wasn't entirely sure who "owns" the players.
